xCal: Why you hating on the MP5? It's like the fastest killing fully auto in the game. Many of my best games have come from using this gun (and I ain't no scrub lol). With a bit of getting used to, this thing is a beast especially if you have UAV, Counter, Harrier killstreak. The MP5 is very good, it's just over-shadowed by the UMP. Great vids man, your commentary is awesome!

I don't know about you guys, but I can't use the chopper gunner for shit. I dunno what it is... Actually I do now that I think about it. Chopper spawns in a bad spot so it takes 30 seconds just for me to get to the map to shoot the one guy who didn't start camping in a building. Pilot can't put down the booze so he flies to the other side of the map preventing me from shooting anyone, and can't keep the chopper steady for jack shit. AC-130 all the way.

The TMP will outpower the MP5k in long range. That is a fact that you cannot deny.

The fire rate of the TMP is quicker as you said which will make a difference, whether it is a huge difference or not.

ACR? Lol? That's too easy. I have grown a hatred for MW2's ARs besides the F2K and Ak-47 simply because they're all the guns in MW2 in one weapon.

I use the MP5k a lot and from experience, I can say that the corridor in Terminal is its maximum range before recoil gets out of control.

The TMP also has no to little recoil in long ranges and the MP5k's recoil is ridiculous. Long range fights, the TMP will always win.

You have yet to take rate of fire and recoil into account.

The TMP's recoil is next to 0, so long range the TMP will outpower the MP5k because of recoil and if the MP5k user was bursting, the RoF will be significantly slower.

As for the Rate of Fire, the TMP is still quicker so close range the TMP will still outpower the MP5k, whether the MP5k is stronger or not.

It's naive to only think that only weapon damage counts.

The MP5k is a balanced gun. Everything stronger than it is overpowered in MW2. So for a noob-friendly game, MW2 - the MP5k is terrible.

@JKjaskodude OMA and Commando is the only big problem there. Painkiller, half the people are using 2 hit kill guns anyway so if they whine about it they just suck. The Rock Glitch on Fuel, just don't go to the open area, it's a terrible spot anyway. The silencers, no one ever uses an MG4 or M240, or even a pistol now. Red dot on FAL, meh, I use the FAL and most people are using Holographic for the damage boost. FMJ on the Spas? FMJ sucks on all guns. It seems silencers are bettter.

Rushing in CoD is pretty much dead. When you throw in the customizable killstreaks you cause people to overload themselves with high killstreaks that they can't get to quickly and they cause themselves to camp in order to make up for their lack of skill, along with using the high-powered guns and the easiest killstreaks and equipment. They think if they camp with overpowered guns and they go positive by 1 they're skilled or something? MW2 logic is backwards.

@stevo6456 Who told you that? I heard it in a commentary but I never heard it say it was officially in the game. If that happened it'd be too easy to get high killstreaks. I love the idea of customizable killstreaks, but it's what has ruined the game. People put on like 5-7-11 and they're not skilled enough to run around for 5 kills so they just camp. In CoD4 people could get 3 killstreaks easy which made it easy to get the next 2, and then the next 2. The killstreaks in BO need to be reasonable

this is true, i dont beleive it was confirmed, but it does make sense, and apparently they were thinking about how to get rid of campers, so i dont think they would scrap the idea without another one because it's been proven that map design doesnt work (ex. salvage)

@stevo6456 In WAW most people just used MP40s so they didn't need to camp but there were always people who still camped with them. I like the linear maps like CoD4 though. They were a lot funner to play. Treyarch should either made really intricate maps, or linear maps. Possibly both. Killstreaks carrying over wouldn't be killstreak rewards, it'd just be kill rewards. If they were to do that they'd need to pretty much double all the killstreaks which they didn't. MP Trailer

Precision airstrike is not that bad, if you catch the team in a long corridor, like say on Quarry, you have the opportunity for a carpet bomb or at least 3-4 kills. If the other team is shooting down air support, harriers might not even get 1.
