@jenruchito76 Thank you, please check out the newer videos I've uploaded. I believe the larger the water change, the better. You can never take out too much water. I routinely change 80-90% of the water every 5 days, and never had a bump in the cycle. Every tank is different when it comes to maintenance.
Awesome tank! Love what you have done with everything :). If you got some time check out my channel. I got some aqaurium vids on there for you to check out, and tell me what you think! Thanks
@kkkcccxx10 I'm not quite sure what you mean by getting a cover for the bottom, do you mean substrate? I will be posting a video in the coming weeks of the new tank setup, new plants have been added.
@AnnaDaWolf 20 gallons minimum for one oranda, but it is recommended that goldfish be kept in a pair or more. So ideally 20 gallons for the first fish, and 10 gallons for each additional fish. This is because goldfish are very dirty and require alot of water to dilute their waste. I recommend going to KokosGoldfish forum, you can find it by searching Google, lots of good information about goldfish care.
nice orandas ! but are changing too much water , for the capacity of your filter , number of fish , 40 % of water to change every week is perfect
