@legendapoju22 the c5 z06 has the same size engine as the regular coupe, but has different intake, heads, etc. the c6 z06 has a 7.0L LS7 compared to the c6 coupe with a 5.7L LS2. you're right in a sense.

u get better suspension, appearance package, the ls6 engine which has more power and can handle more power cuz of its vented block, more aggresive gearing, and yes a new intake

the "appearance package" is just those shitty rims. And the regular corvette has the ls6 engine already. You dont get an entire different engine from corvette to zo6. LoL

So yah, for an extra 15 thousand dollars you get 4 rims which prob cost 2 g's.

the appearance package is the rims, z06 seats, z06 gauges, brake duct, hardtop. the C5 coupe has an ls1 this has an ls6 which has a larger cam, vented block, different intake manifold. comes with titanium exhaust, better gearing, better suspension. if u wanna do the work yourself and spend 30 grand go ahead but its given as the z06 package. maybe read up on it sometime before saying stupid shit

absolutely, ferraris are actually very terrible in reliability, sure they're fast, but for what, a month? you have to service them every couple of thousand miles at a dealer which costs multiple thousands of dollars. get a vette, viper, or a benz if you want high end performance, they all are not only way more affordable and practical, but very reliable and have a plethora of aftermarket parts available to get them to 1000+hp

@ecolemanit I would say you're dead on...I own a C6 because I could never afford a Murcielago or Enzo.....I love the Vette and I'm grateful to have it. I have a decent job but $60K or more is a ton of cash to spend on a car that sits in the garage for the winter and is completely impractical. I'm sure the guys that buy Bugatti's, Ferrari's and Lambo's are multi-millionaires. Thank God Chevy still makes a true sports car that regular folks can purchase albeit with some careful budgeting.....
