@kwhitez28, i've got an 02 SS with SLP LM catback exhuast, edelbrock shorty headers, SLP lid, and diablo tune... Next thing I want to do is supercharge it. I see most people have the Procharger or Magnacharger. I've seen some pretty impressive numbers with both. How's the install with the Procharger, and quality? Thanks
i think youd fair better with a 10:1 or at least 9:5. now if you have an f1-a or c etc....at 16psi...then i may say ok. but d1sc should be best at 10:1 at least thats what folks are saying who drive them. mines being install on the stock bottom end for now at 8-9psi with meth. sweet car though. bet that feels good when boost hits.

@armyrob211 cam only making 609 at the wheels? an ls1 is 295-320 at the tires stock.....what in the fuck kinda cam added 290-300 horses at the wheels if you dont mind me askin. my bs sensor is going off hard.

actually 355 built properly go better than 383's. If you go to the bigger crank you loose rpm's I've seen this first hand. My 355 goes way better than both of my friends 383's although there are other factors like weight of the pistons and connecting rods, and more importantly the Heads, the Cam, Headers etc.
decals, seats, options, exhaust, intake, suspension, hood, like 20-30 hp not a big enough difference to buy an ss over a z28 if you plan to modify it anyways.

the extra 1/4" of stroke makes a 383 much more than just '30-something' more cubic inches. Usually about 50 ft-lbs of torque more...
