Obama is a foreign-policy novice who would put our national security at risk.
Obama promises to raise taxes. How to fix Social Security? Raise taxes. How to fix Medicare? Raise taxes. Prescription drugs? Raise taxes. Free college? Raise taxes. Socialize medicine? Raise taxes. His solution to everything is to have government take it over. Obama is Big Brother on steroids, funded by your paycheck.
it takes the collective reality that one woman and one powerful candidacy is playing games with the little man and his vote. this is a real threat to your so-called "let(ting) YOU decide," isn't it?
America, when you vote. Vote not on color of skin, nor sex of person. Nor even Rep. or Dem. Just vote for whom you feel will help our Country. Maybe if we vote for people and not parties we would be better off.
you should vote for ideas. Ideas that work! Not for conservatism or liberalism and all that devisive talk. Vote for what actually works an what you have seen to work. Bush didnt work ,mccain is another bush ,just without the christian right wing on his dick. So you dont wanna vote that
If the superdelegates are to vote exactly as the states primary voters, then what are the SD's role? The Superdelegates system came after president Carters nomination, a candidate that was not the first pick of the DNC and they wanted some influence in the nomination process.
I just hope Obama will not be a new Carter. A man with great hopes and dreams, but Carter became a one-term president with a very small , and not lasting, impact on the political scene.
If Superdelegates gives Hillary the nomination, the Democratic Party just might as well disappear. McCain would win in a landslide because no Obama supporter would support Hillary Clinton after that crap.
Even with Obama POTUS, we need to be activists to transform government positively.
Sponsoring terrorists is not an "exception" in American elite behavior but one of the major forces on this planet for misery and environmental devastation. Carter, Dem, started the mujaheddin. See also John Pilger Indonesia, or former CIA agent John Stockwell. We have to face the worst of what we do, if there is going to be real change. Obama- private prep school,Harvard,CFR -- he's not an "outsider".
Plus, the Clinton's record is actually atrocious, only Bush could make it look good-check the history on Rwanda, East Timor, Haiti, the sanctions in Iraq, etc.
Obama's *advisors*, like Zbigniew Brzezinski, have more experience than Clinton, and that's what counts. Zb's geopolitics aren't angelic, but better than Clinton's.
I agree with you Brzezinski is far better than all of these pro-Iraq war advisors that Clinton has. Brzezinski was, at least, against the war in Iraq.
lo lso what has bush doen in darfour? pakistan, Iraq ,etc. Clinton fixed north ireland ,fixed the balkan. And he didnt even have too. He also almost fixed the middleeast. and he fucking FIX a damn large part of the US. Bush jsut fucked up anything he touched ,like his daddy and reagan
At this point, no matter who wins the nomination, the Democrats are screwed. This hate between these two sides go beyond rationality. Obama people will not vote for Hillary and Hillary people will not vote for Obama. Even if they have one nominee, they are going into the election split in two. If they don't listen to Howard Dean and solve this problem soon, President McCain will be extending active duty assignments for another 100 years by this time next year.
And based on four people you think you can get all of Hillary supporters, right? If you don't get 100% of them, there is no chance for the Democrats to win. As you saw in 2004, with fraud or without it, Bush won the popular vote, the electoral vote, and most states. Old people, evangelical Christians, and union workers vote. College kids, educated voters, Blacks, Hispanics, and poor people don't usually vote. Those are Obama supporters (not Hispanics). He needs everyone, if not he's doomed.
The Democrats can certainly win, they've voted in record numbers this year, with about double the increase of the Republicans.
Additionally, many Republicans have decided to vote Democratic this year because of the war.
Of the remaining, a substantial number of Republicans *will* not vote McCain. Paul's supporters have ranged from 5-25%, many will refuse to back McCain. Also, many evangelicals will either vote Obama if they have a chance, or they won't vote at all.
Keep your smile, because you will need it to go through another twelve years of Republican rule. By the way, I'm not American and don't live in your country, but still care because you guys are going to cause a global financial and economic crisis if you don't tighten your belts.

MSNBC is pretty Pro-Bama, but the "inexperience" knife cuts both ways. The rest of the candidates have experience in blowing it, being sleazy politicians, running up the natioal debt (some $9 trillion), and getting us into needless conflicts. Obama's not dirty . . . yet. That alone might be enough. I think the fact Hillary's got instant name recognition with 30 years in the public eye yet can't walk away with this proves my point. In a general, Hillary is a liability to the party.

The people are trying to help the Dem party win, but the Dem party is trying real hard to lose again. Nominate Hillary and John McCain will be the next POTUS.
I think Hillary is not going to make it; I think Obama is catching on more and more with the people, and more people are kind of tired of the same old, same old with another Clinton. I mean come on...how wierd is it for the wife of an ex-president to become president? I'm not against her because she's a woman, but she's already lived in the White House, and what can she bring to the table that's really new??!
Why? Do you want to let in all the illegals and Iraqs, to overcome this country. I think the country is hungry for positive changes; get out of this war, improve the economy, stop the lobbying by big corporations. Also, Obama is very strongly for protecting our borders. Have hope, labar1000, don't fear!
bush would be offended by that statement. we aren't at war with iraq, were at war to save iraq from itself (that's what they say). another thing, you sound like you're from the hilary campaign, pointing fingers, pulling dirt and using scare tactics opposed to facts.

what I'm worried about is that if clinton won the nomination people won't vote for a candidate the didn't vote for. it would be cancerous to the democrats
Well if she wins only by super delegates when the pledge delegates voted for Obama. I will not vote for her and will loose all my faith in the Democratic Party. They will just be saying out right that are votes don't count. And if that's the case she doesn't need my vote to win against McCain.
First of all, who are these 'people' who think that way? They exist only in your imagination. Secondly, think, it's NOT going to happen. Clinton is going out Guliani-style.
Those people would be anyone that wants another Clinton in office.
I'm not knocking Bill I'm saying that we're in one sorry state if there are only two families in the entire country that can produce someone "qualified" to be president.
Voting for Clinton doesn't mean that they consciously want a dynasty to happen. There are women who vote for her just cos it's a women thing; Hispanics vote for her cos it makes it easier to break the immigration laws, Blacks vote for her cos that some how means that race is not an issue for them, etc.
it's not the families that bother me, it's the fact that only wealthy people manage to rise the political ranks, and it's that reason for the president's give presents to their country club friends (tax cuts for the rich)
this was a very recent trend, he's ahead, but just behind in super delegates. the question is which team do you want to be on, the side that is ahead or the side that is coming up really quickly
After patiently waiting 7 years for the Democrat's war plan we finally got their promise to surrender to the Islamists, which their leadership, Pelosi & Reid, immediately betrayed. Now they want to proffer a Muslim/Atheist/Christian for US President.
How can we be sure he will institute Sharia Law, or continue to force taxpayer to build Muslim prayer facilities, if elected?
Democrats have lost even their credibility to reliably betray the nation.
he's not muslim, and we're not fighting muslims, we're fighting backward thinking in the islamic world. I have news for you, no one will be any safer with soldiers in iraq.
sorry for dissing you, but seriously, do you watch fox?
I'm not mad, just stating facts. Your athiest/muslim/christian... rip was borrowed from Ann. I don't have opposition, but there are some people like her that I don't respect. big deal. She's a fucking nasty skank. Try to think for yourself once in a while why don't you. Go McCain! He's going to lose anyway.
The "rip" is from Obama's apologists. Their tortured explanation of Obama's fraud is that his mother was Atheist, his father(s) Muslim and him "Christian".
They recite their gibberish too dull minded to even notice the half-life of an Atheist wife in Muslim nations is measured in seconds.
McCain & Obama -- both are sponsored by George Soros.

it's not the families that bother me, it's the fact that only wealthy people manage to rise the political ranks, and it's that reason for the president's give presents to their country club friends (tax cuts for the rich)
danthemango 4 years ago
Yah, well, they're where they are cos someone out there voted them into office. Everyone is to blame if you think about it. *shrugs*

Damn. Obama's got it.
I favor him but part of me never really believed it would happen.
Wow.

this was a very recent trend, he's ahead, but just behind in super delegates. the question is which team do you want to be on, the side that is ahead or the side that is coming up really quickly

Wow, So much misinformation in under 500 characters. I applaud you.

Wow, Such baseless complaining without so much as an attempt to refute. (No applause.)

he's not muslim, and we're not fighting muslims, we're fighting backward thinking in the islamic world. I have news for you, no one will be any safer with soldiers in iraq.
sorry for dissing you, but seriously, do you watch fox?

"... we're not fighting muslims" -- danthedemocrat
Therein we witness the abject denial of reality required of Leftist devotees. Which is why Liberalism is known as a severe mental disorder.

you're the reason for attacks like 9/11.
danthemango 4 years ago
you didn't answer my question.
danthemango 4 years ago
You took that from the skinny fucking skank Ann Coulter's monologue. Be original.
ArthurTyler 4 years ago
Never assume your opposition uses your tactics. However, you have earned an AC quote:
"If you don't leave Liberals in a sputtering, impotent rage, then you're not doing it right." -- Ann Coulter
TylerNull 4 years ago
I'm not mad, just stating facts. Your athiest/muslim/christian... rip was borrowed from Ann. I don't have opposition, but there are some people like her that I don't respect. big deal. She's a fucking nasty skank. Try to think for yourself once in a while why don't you. Go McCain! He's going to lose anyway.
ArthurTyler 4 years ago
The "rip" is from Obama's apologists. Their tortured explanation of Obama's fraud is that his mother was Atheist, his father(s) Muslim and him "Christian".
They recite their gibberish too dull minded to even notice the half-life of an Atheist wife in Muslim nations is measured in seconds.
McCain & Obama -- both are sponsored by George Soros.
TylerNull 4 years ago
he and his father aren't muslim, they just lived in muslim nations.

"he and his father aren't muslim" -- danthedemocrat
Too late. You publicly debased yourself with your earlier statement:
"... we're not fighting muslims" -- danthedemocrat
So, there's nothing I can do or post to reestablish your credibility.
TylerNull 4 years ago
it was two separate points. one about obama and one about the war. I 'm not ashamed.
danthemango 4 years ago
Two separate "points" -- true.
However, the dementia you exhibited via the second further discredits the first, as well as all of your other "points".
Give reality a chance.

what was the purpose of entering iraq (using money the US didn't have and borrowing $3trillion)
danthemango 4 years ago
Got the war cost back in oil production? And now have an army in the middle east capable of massive invasion of 'rogue' states?

I don't like McCain cause he's a warmonger. I don't know the reason for voting for Huckabee except for not liking McCain or cause he's a christian.
danthemango 4 years ago
it's this war that is bankrupting the nation, the question is as well, is it worth the cost?
