I believe it's a hologram that can interact with whatever surface the hologram is dealing with. The netbooks are examples of the surface interaction. When she squished the little girl, the "clay" attached to her hand, but when her hand left the desk, the clay probably disappeared along with the remnants of the little people. The hologram was obviously started by closing the netbook, as seen there.

They may have done claymation in a studio and then used CGI to overlay the video. I can't tell for sure whether the computers are part of the claymation or video. The characters are probably CGI other than when the guy is reforming.

Nonetheless, they are all just theories, and only the original filmers would know the truth.

Right, it is clearly just a samsung promotional video, possibly for their trade shows. For one holograms don't leave playdo on your hands. Also holograms are made light you can squash a hologram as there is nothing there it is just an image.

If they had made an animation of two holograms fighting it certainly would not have been possible for one of the holograms to OPEN and close one of the laptops.

Thats how you know it is a fake. Just so people know that.
