it has nothing to do with your style of hat you are wearing dark camo in a light green setting I would strongly recommend that you change your camo out or invest some time into building a ghillie suit if you don't want to be seen hiding behind trees or laying in the over growth is not camouflage
You could wear blaze orange and still be just about conceled doing it that way, hiding behind a tree, ya know? try doing that while you're hiding in plain sight. That's a better way to really put camouflage to the test. nice tho!

Camo testing is about being in plain sight and being difficult to see, not standing behind a bush that even when you move to show where you are you can only see your arms. Next tests make sure to not be standing behind something, you could have been wearing jeans for all we know.
as I said switching out the camo cowboy hat for a digi bonnie will greatly improve the concealment... but I wore the camo cowboy because it is what i always where and I did not want to change my set up for this video, out of honesty
