Wow probably the only guy i've ever seen take down Buakaw!! Yeah, i always thought his weakness was his boxing skills- Dida and his team had obvisouly identified and honed in on this to form a strategy to take down Buakaw as early as poss and weaken him from there- unfortunetly they didn't count on him being so strong thereafter!... Buakaw was lucky he's so strong-many punches in that 1st rnd after the knockdown he could have been down!

buakaw is such a great fighter , perfect technique , flawless , powerfull , fast , and he knows very well how to addept wich this match proves , that people are surprised that he was knocked down one time in his career said enough !
Pity some "critics" below put Dida down. It takes something to end as finalist, think about that before disrespecting this fighter. His style is not my style, but he resists one hell of a thai-boxer.
