Every mayor for the last 50 years has ignored the problems of our aging nervous system of underground pipes, tunnels, wires, cables and other nasties just aching to literally explode in our faces. Maybe Mike is doing us a favor by building golden outhouses on all the rotting wood. Like houses built on sand they will - also literally - fall and bring full public attention to this public emergency. The tsunami of undeniable fact will overcome Mike's tsunami of media lies.
