  • Gorgeous Georgia...

  • yes, he is a great singer and artist

  • Peace.Love.Georgia

  • The brothers and Alan did a nice job with this one. I also like their version, but Alan resonates deep south and the song is perfect for him. i'm sure this song is special to Alan. Hey Alan, call me, maybe we can go fishing in the deep south someday!

  • Don't be mean, we are all Americans. There are great places in the South & I'm a Northerner & believe me great places up here. Trust me when my son fights for the freedom of the U.S. he isn't thinking N. or S. He as I appreciate it all. Military Mom in upstate N.Y. (NO NOT N.Y. City..very rural farm country)

  • Well, looks like you had to come back for one more listen...hmmm. What's wrong, can't find a yankee doodle happy song out there anywhere? Don't believe I've ever heard one either. Keep on dreaming, yank. I believe deep down you wish you had some measure of Southern Pride. Else you wouldn't be liking songs like this so much. Myself, being from the heart of Carolina, I'm like the old saying goes, "Born an American, Southern by The Grace of God." BTW, that truly was too easy. No apology given.

  • @stsvrider Told you I liked the song. I just don't make a two minute dittie my life's philosophy. South's fine. From there myself, but there's lots of fine places -- and some of them didn't even rise up in rebellion against the rest of us. Get off the high horse and appreciate the entire Country that's your homeland. After all, you are an American aren't you?

  • Truth hurts? Second place isn't that bad.

  • Thank God for Southern Pride. What does the north have that can beat that.

  • @cristalsanchez100: U.S. Grant and the U.S. Army of the Potomac. Sorry, but that was too easy. Great song though.

  • @72mespo...dream on, yank. 'Nuff said.

  • great song

  • Bellamy Brothers are coming to Watseka Illinois on July 15.

  • im from here in western maryland. and when my great pap was alive he told me that his pap was part of the confederates during the war and that his paps friend went to be with the yankees. and that they was both fightin each other. have of maryland was confederates and the other half was yanks. but in my heart and soul im part of the south.

  • im from the philippines and just love COUNTRY MUSIC!!!......

  • TRULY Great song....if you arent from the South; you'd never understand.....

  • @Greenhornet270 I am a Northerner but do appreciate the south. I've hung out in Va. & N.C. a lot. It's too hot for me but I live in a very rural farm county. Not so different. Americans. :)

  • This song is on the Bellamy Brothers 2006 album "Angels and Outlaws".

  • This drips South....from every orrifice....beautiful!

  • brings teardrop to this old Alabama. boys eyes I was born an American..but I was blessed by almighty GOD. to be born a southerner..and the confederacy will live in our hearts forever

  • i am from sweden and i just love cuntry music

  • some of the best songs come from the south! Im proud to call the south my home.

  • This is my all time favourite, you sing it beautifully with the Bel Bros

  • Anybody know what album this is off of?

  • the Bellamy brothers are performing in concert at the Watseka Theatre Watseka Illinois on Friday July 15, 2011.

  • Hi i am from Germany i love the music and hope i can visit the south of usa

  • @sandral607 yes sandra you will love the usa especially the south

  • Great song yes the south needs to rise again

  • thanks for posting this

  • @outbackredd even demo likes country

  • wish they had a love it buttin

  • yea, yea, yea there i go losing the popular voting dum-masses, what i should of said is the perpetual erections. opps again i mess up, i meant perpetual screwing the USAs taxpayers.. but then BearyHairy, i guess i just should dum-up now, but i do like to share. hope your not chewish, not there anything wrong with it, but if-in ya believe that Jesus is a jooos, then ya mite of made a mistake are two? study if you must, but then we could debate it for from now on, but bubba ya have to wanta know?

  • I live and love the southern US; a champion of free vibes & good music. I have to really ask myself why do these folks HATE liberals? Are liberals (people who advocate freedom) so repulsive & detrimental to human thought? I guess that's ok...as long as we hold no allegiance to Christ/Christianity. Liberal equals Jew, Jew equals Christ & I don’t want no part of that, for sure. Long Sarah Palin... death to liberals/Christ/Bible stuff...etc. I’m okay with that, bubbah.Cool man--death to liberals!

  • @BearyHairy huh? personally i don't give a rat arse for palin= puppet-can't nor a liberal=demo-can't. my opinion of course doesn't mean much to no-one but myself, but both are freakin nuts. neither one of em will or even want to fix this furbar mess that both sets of idiots help each other to make, i know everybody is smarter than me, and have clear views of how their deadmans party can, could, would, should fix their self made confusion. sure in their Perpetual PURIM MURDER, opps perpetual...

  • @BearyHairy So, when did Country Music become a political issue? Country music doesn't care what color you are, what god you worship or what political party you support. Country music has nothing to do with anything except real music about real life. People from all walks of life, different religions, like Country music. Grow up, get a life. "You Ain't Just Whistlin' Dixie"? IT'S A SONG, FOR F**Ks sake, not a political or racist statement. Grow up, get over it!

  • Super cette vidéo !!!

  • Alan Jackson!!! One of the all time best in country music!!!!!!

    THANK YOU !!!

  • I'm from Mass and I love this song and Tennessee! I want to go back so bad. That's where I belong! (:

  • OK, I'm homesick now :-) Dixie is calling to me.

  • awsome song i love livin down here in the south... good ole GRITS mudding fishing hunting and front porch livinng.HOW BOUT IT

  • Great song-great singin',and I love the pictures. ! Mike

  • opps, i meant to write, "ya'll come back, ya hear"? i was running out of the allotted writing space, wasn't looking at my spelling. goes to show ya, that getting in a hurry is not my style. i mess up when i do. like i say quite abit, i'll fix-it, or fit-it where it can't be fixed. either way...

  • we still say thank you, hold the door open for the fairest sex, says yes ma'am, yes sir, no ma'am, no sir, please and oh so many other of the old fashioned pleasantries. i've worked all over this country and seen and heard my share of the difference in north and south. my friends are many, and some i had to lead them and train them, and they have fell in love down here in L.A. ya'll back, ya hear?

  • yeah, i'm from L.A. lower alabama, that's as deep as you can get in Ol' Dixie. i love all of these united states, but it sure would be nice to clean this place up. it seems to me that many of our northern friends out there takes this song totally wrong of it's meaning, but if they'll spend anytime down here, they would understand, it's a frame of mind.

  • @outbackredd me too!

  • omg where the hell have i been to not hear alan jackson sing this??? nothing like some good ol fl/ga colaboration..

  • if the south would rise again, I sure wish they would start at washington dc, i mean take back this once upon a time great nation and put it back to "we the people" and not them damn demo-can'ts and of course the puppet-can'ts. fire everyone of them viper bastards. might even consider putting them on trial for "High Treason"??? just my thoughts, and great song btw. always loved AJ and the BB's....

  • A great song, great words, great singer accompanied by the Bellamy brothers, great combination, love it

  • Great post good song ..

  • Amazing vocals!

  • this is prue true 100% what country music is suppose to sound like,,,gr8 song...

  • with out welfare we would be a third worlld country the homeless and hungry would die in our streets like we have never seen .

  • @skirtz2002 If they don't want to get a job and feed themselves let them starve. Hunger is a great motivation. I'm tired of paying everyone's way that's too goddamn lazy to work. If welfare shoudl exist at all it should be for those who can't work(physically disabled) not those that are too lazy to work. There's a HUGE difference there.

  • S/B: Old Times, They Are Not Forgotten

  • this is a great song.....!!!! Why, or how, would anyone start talking about politics, by listening to this song! Ya'll are all retarded!

  • Great video, enjoyed it.

  • im a filipino, but i always admire the bravery and courage of the great southlanders.

  • Clinton worked at getting welfare stopped and look at us now. Here we are again.

  • @imdunwrkn Clinton? His "Give everyone a house" program IS the reason we are where we are

  • I love this song... It would tear at my heart if I heard it and was far from my beloved South.

  • good ass song

  • I love this song! Thank God I was born in the south!!!

  • I am 29 years old and I Listen to this song and enjoy my children who are mixed... I know who I am I Know who I Love. Southern Heritage Belongs to all those that have lived it. Skin color has nothing to do with it. I Love my husband who is Afganistan now. Defending Anyones rights to live free and Happy. The funny thing is even though his skin is black and he Was born in Africa. He is American Sourthen and proud. Crazy world huh

  • yankee's can't understand that, they think just cause we're southern and proud of our heritage that we're all racist

  • @LUCY2U0507 to Lucy - thank you SO much for your note! I was born and raised in Mississippi and lived only in MS, AL, and FL for my 61 years - fought hard for Southerners of ALL colors - and to lots of us (most of us) - color does not matter---character does. It's the Yankees that still try to make us racist!

  • @ritakc1 EXACTLY! When was the last time you heard of race riots and racially motivated gangs in Dixie? But NY and LA, all the time.

  • megastarker song!!!super lied!!!

  • good song

  • Right a woman in america is dumb enough to shove a coat hanger where the sun don't shine, you are so retarded.

  • AMEN hayseed!

  • take your liberal bullshit up north with you, we here in south dont like your kind you must be a fucken commie you didnt fight with me

  • things northerners will never understand: sweet tea, a hearty breakfast, Jesus, bourbon, and what the civil war was really about - the rights of the state versus the rights of union.

  • excellent video...

  • Take it easy fellas.... ;)

  • me too Herb Walker.

  • Im telling that would be fine with us i promise you, we want nothing to with the North. Yall have taken God out of everything and we have no forgoten where we came from.

  • Who the hell is looking for work up there?? You liberal freaken hippie.

  • fuck all the liberal hippies!! i hope those cocksuckers soon rott!!

  • my family runs deep in the confederate army! if youre a liberal maybe you are just confused and out of place! liberals ae fucked up people!

  • Your proud to be a liberal, so basicly your saying your proud to support the murder of babies.

  • I DO NOT support the murder of babies. Besides, even though I am liberal, that does not mean i support everything about liberals.

  • Have you ever voted a liberal into office? If yes, than you are supporting the murder of unborn babies.

  • I have not voted for anyone. I am not old enough. And, even though i vote for someone does not mean that i agree with everything that person supports.

  • It dosnt matter if you support everything that politician wants to do while holding office. If you knowingly vote for someone who supports abortion, and that politician allows more and more deaths to the unborn, than basicly you are no different then the doctor giving the abortion.

NOW thanks to liberals like yourself, Obama is sending American tax money to 3rd world countries to fund abortions.

  • I know abortion is a very sensitive subject to a lot of us,my opinion is worry about your own life and home, let other famillys make there own decisions.we dont know there curcumstances!!

  • Sure, let people make their own decisions. And if thats the case, than I should be given a choice weather or not my tax dollar is being used to fund abortion.

  • I removed your comment by mistake so I will reply here. First off, what U said about the welfare payouts, was true. That is why I believe welfare should b stopped. People SHOULD NOT b responsible for feeding, clothing, providing medical care to someone else's children. That is one of the reasons why Americans have become fat and lazy, because they know they can always rely on someone else 2 take care of them. People need 2 learn to stand on their own two feet and take care of their own mistakes.

  • @foolishpleasure75 out standing way to put it

  • @foolishpleasure75 We have become fat and lazy because of our food. We eat more calories per day than any other country and more than a few of them combined. Yes, the entitlement attitude that most people have these days contributes a great deal.

  • lookin for work up there? Buddy i live in Georgia and just about every other car around here has a fuckin New York or Ohio tag on it. You fuck heads need to stop sendin your liberal spawns down here. Trust me, we wont be movin up North EVER. If yall hate the South so much why yall keep movin down here? Tired of the cold? Or you just wanna spread your liberal filth?

  • we dont deepwed we aint mexcon dume fuck you can keep your trach of a city and i will keep my clean air. from the def of dixie

  • What ?????

  • you need to learn how to spell and practice good grammer and language arts.

  • amen brother

  • praise the lord and pass the ammo we gonna give em hell!!!!!!!!

  • The South Can And Will Rise!!!!

  • Thank God for Dixie!

  • Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise, the South WILL rise again.

  • thank god i was born in south carolina this country music at its finest
