  • I have a 1999 Chrysler 300M and I think my Crank Position Sensor is bad. My car havs turned off twice while driving, it cranks but doesnt go on and it feels like the battery is going bad By the way where is the crank position sensor in my car, and are there any videos replacing

  • @Felix19911973 yes, usually they get dirty and cause a false reading to the ECU, so the computer thinks there is a mechanical error and shuts the engine off, the sensor will be located somewhere in your bell housing, good luck, mine went out on my audi, i can see it but cant reach it to replace it lol

  • I have a Durango 1999, and it has been stopping for no reason, and after 5 minutes it starts again as if nothing happened. The dangerous part is that it stops without a warning and everything block out. I've searche the web and founfd out that this (cranckshaft sensor) might be the reason, any comment?

  • @MarcoFenelon distributor?

  • My 2000 Monte Carlo read that the Crankshaft Sensor had a failure. Is that why my car randomly shuts off while driving or at a stop light or stop sign and sometimes stalls?

  • on a 1992 chevy lumina, where is the crankshaft position sensor located?

  • @robert73624 just watched video about the crankshaft sensor, im sure you found it by now but if it not and you have the 3.1 or 2.8v6. if you get under the car, and look right up between the trans pan and the oil pan it is hidden up in the gap between.

  • My crankshaft seems to be running alittle rough according to my wife... She cheched my sensors and she found that they were smooth as silk but my ball bearings needed some touching up with lube and now my balls are firing in every cylinder... My crankshaft is running smoothly now thanks to my compression at every check with no misfires !!! WOOO HOOO !!!

  • 1993 lumina crankshaft position sensor where is it located

  • the music is totally bitchin

  • I replaced my Coil pack, still have a misfire on cylinder 3. trouble codes, reading crank, and camshaft sensors. -TX

  • Do a compression check. Might have a burnt valve, worn valve guide, bad valve seals or bad rings.

  • yeah 8 valves were bent due to timing baelt jump. Had to tear the motor apart and build back up. Machine shop $180 not bad but alot of Work. Now it's running fine! Thanks -TX

  • this is like one of te videos we watch in LTI -_-
