Thieves. I ordered my mom flowers and they cost about $60. I used a coupon code from another website. And it turned out that they signed me with a company which charges 15 dollars a month to be a part of their "club". I didn't know till I received a letter from the attorny general that said this and that the company was being sued for deception. So they charged me 15$ a month for 30 months. never again. it cost me about 500$ for shity flowers. I will never buy form them again. thieves.
My wife just recieved her Valentines Day Boquet from ProFlowers... it looked like a vase full of onion grass snatched from the ground and tossed into the vase, I am pissed... she was supposed to get flowers, not stems!!
Such sales! I think its amazing that she starts with a dozen stems & then says, "When they open they look like this...." and brings out a vase stuffed with at least 2 dozen stems!
Great this web-florist might be.... blatant lying always puts me off organisations.
Flowers in a box are great, if you know what to do, and this video provides some great direction. If you don't have the time or aren't confident with your abilities, turn to a local florist! Let Bidflowers help you locate the best deals from local florists.
Ahh! Please don't cut a rose in air and then sit it on the counter to "gulp" air! If you can, cut the end of the rose in a bowl of cold water to prevent air bubbles; this will lead to longer lasting flowers.
Also, the "food" packets included are simply sugar and bleach -- the sugar has the same affect that it does on a human body: a big boost of energy at the start followed by a quick wilt. The best method for arrangements that last: Change the water and cut the stems daily.
IF you order from proflowers, do NOT click anything that remotely looks like a COUPON for your next purchase, it's a "sister company" called ezsavr and also has your credit card info courtesy of "proflowers",,,,,,,,,,it took me 3 months of billing to notice, the charge will be an unoticeable 14.95 per month
Proflowers is an active participant in a scam and uses misleading advertising practices that end up charging your credit card a monthly ongoing charge .I recently ordered some flowers from Proflowers. A couple of months later I realized that I was being charged $14.95 a month from something called EasySaver. When I emailed Proflowers, I was told that I agreed to be signed up when I purchased the flowers. I really did not see this coming from what I thought was a legitimate business.
Two months ago, a friend of the family, gave me white roses and it did last 3 weeks with me, I did the same thing, cutting the stem at an angle, to my amazement, it sprouted! even if it was in the vase! (grin)
With this video, I never knew about taking the guard petals, but great info!* My tips: Instead of discarding the latter, we can always use it for body soak or make rose water by boiling them and use it as a facial toner :-)
Thank you for this video--I have always had trouble with this, and now I've got it. I love Proflowers-have sent them to a number of friends and family, and they always tell me how wonderful and long lasting their flowers were.
yesterday I walked in on my mom sitting in her kitchen with her face smashed into her computer and her clippers in hand. She was watching your video so intently that she didn't even notice me coming in. I just sat and watched her go step-by-step along with you...although her bouquet didn't quite match the gorgeous one, is was pretty close! Thanks, I haven't seen my mom have so much fun in a long time!
