Being a huge Heathen fan I frankly prefer Lee Altus over any other Exodus guitarist, but Holt is still the eExodus sound personified. Hunolt was no slouch either, but he doesn't have quite the same technical command of the guitar that Altus has.

@metagore08  They can't be replaced...but the trouble is neither were particularly reliable, and Holt basically said he didn't want to have to deal with an unstable line up.

Gary uses a presonus parametric eq - he uses it for more mids- to create a cocked wah effect

@hez1919 I saw them play last week in hollywood they fuckin tore the place up and when that song played i was moshing n stage diving to it, they played that song really well.

@hez1919 eh lee is in heathen and their songs are like 80x's harder. gary found a perfect guitarist to add for song writing and shit. heathen songs sound very progressive and have alot of rhythm changes
