Not sure about it. I don't think Cintron's power moves up that well in weight. Also, Cintron has proven he has no heart in several of his fights.
One other thing, I think Angulos body work will be the key difference in the fight. If Cintron had some good hooks and uppercuts going for him, then I would give him a better chance.

one thing I noticed that sets Angulo apart from a lot of the traditional Mexican style is that he uses the jab ALOT. Instead of simply using it as a range finder for the straight right, he uses is to disrupt his opponents rythm, while at the same time piling up points (in an actual scored fight).
Good call and he also throws it when he's really close so he doesn't lean in. He actually does lots of things that compensate for his lack of real speed and athleticism. Real pro.

DAMNN Alfredo Angulo vs Gabriel Rosado tonite made me jump out my seat and throw my arms in the air! the heart in his body language and the determination in his eyes was amazing, once he scored the first knockdown he refused to let that round come to a close, 2 more knock downs until TKO Victory, I hope he keeps it up he has determination.

you're both right. it's amazing how many guys think they don't need anything at all. one wrong accidental move, even in a light sparring session with your best partner, could cost you your vision. not worth it at any level.

Not sure about it. I don't think Cintron's power moves up that well in weight. Also, Cintron has proven he has no heart in several of his fights.
One other thing, I think Angulos body work will be the key difference in the fight. If Cintron had some good hooks and uppercuts going for him, then I would give him a better chance.

Kirkland is just a free swinger. Cintron is a boxer. Styles make fights. He may get beat by a skilled boxer, but KO somebody with 0 form like Kirkland.

one thing I noticed that sets Angulo apart from a lot of the traditional Mexican style is that he uses the jab ALOT. Instead of simply using it as a range finder for the straight right, he uses is to disrupt his opponents rythm, while at the same time piling up points (in an actual scored fight).
