@Marioh10Webkinz Nooo :) We couldn't compete with some of the best AIs. The aiming were done with a static neural network. Would love to revisit Robocode with some of the newer gained knowledge I have. And thanks for saying 'nice bot' means a ton. :)
@xxKiraNLxx Hi! Sorry for my late answer, I rarely surf my own videoes :). It would perform poorly against a wave surfer - We could BARELY hit the number 1 in the world. :).
@JonLNielsen Im feeling your pain hehe, those guys have been optimizing those way too long. ^^ still i think robocode could become something very intresting with more game modes or maybe something like walls or power ups, anyway nice bot+vid! :)
give it more time to learn how to aim so it learns how to lead shots

In the "Learning to dodge" section from around 3:06, why did you pick circles rather than arcs to show the possible positions of the bullets?

Would it make any chance against wave surfing?
Wonder how it does against mine (which is a non-wave surfer tho) but still not performing that bad for a beginner bot.
