This is pretty much exactly the look and feel I'd want to see in a Touhou anime.

Imperishable night is what I'd say where the best of ZUN's work is in: during that time it was probably his peak. So many things are only exclusive to IN: 4 Pairs of playable characters making 8 total, two bosses for stage 4, two bosses for stage 6 (in fact two different stage 6s), spellcard practice, last words for each character as an extra challenge, not to mention it has the deepest backstory. Also contains some of the most sophisticated music throughout the whole series.

@unknownakatsuki To each their own Gensokyo. As serious as the backstories may be, as we all know the in-game dialogues tend to have more of the "take it easy" mood. Unless you're ZUN, I don't think you can reasonably claim that either of them is Gensokyo's "true nature". To be honest I think it's the combination of the both of them that makes Gensokyo such a likable place.
