megaman zero 1 opening level

I've got a question..I've only beaten the first real boss (the one immediately following the boss in this video) and I kept escaping to the other levels, thinking I could try a different one. It seems like the game is moving forward though...I've already beaten the "base is being attacked" level and now I'm stuck headed to Neo Arcadia. I can't choose any other missions and I only have one life. How do I get back to having multiple lives and choosing unfinished levels?

I can assume how this storyline came about. Remember its Dr. Light who created Megaman and Wily who created Zero. Megaman times as a legend were up,he had passed away but some where he is still alive and now its Zero's time at this point. Years after the Maverick wars, X died. Zero was caught in it to, and he ended up like this, then after these times the rest is history. And then thats when Megaman ZX starts.

@n00bzXD : you really need to use the Z-saber because if you don't, it will eat up too much time on defeating the golem and you level rank might go down.

you need to get level rank S. but i don't know if A will do. but here is the thing. i think its impossible for you to get S or A on the missions, so try on the opening level of the game.

I've always liked to see how the series would go on if X5 was the last X game. Originally, Zero wasn't kept in stasis, he was just dead and Passy was supposed to restore his body and bring him back to life. Also the actual X was supposed to be the enemy, not Copy X. I think that would have made a much more interesting plot without as many holes in it. Plus X6 and all others after it were shit.

good point, there's a mission im mmz2 where you must defend her too, the ship mission, i think if she's hit you lose mission score too, but i think she can't die in that mission too.

Besides, you lose points every time she is hit, which is her real purpose in that level.

this series is so hot. Its not my favorite, but this game impressed me even more than X4, i was completely amazed specially on Z1 and Z3. The series deserves so much to be remade for PS2 or PSP with high detailed graphics and animation. That would rock so much.

Come on.. Megaman is hard as hell. It's a known fact among casual gamers. Not that I'm a casual gamer. Capcom got lazy as hell and so Megaman Zero 4 was created. It was wrong, but they did it. Zero was the best in MMZ and MMMX.

Ah, I know the around-exact date. The actual games Megaman Zero starts around the year 2360 and Command Mission ended around 2210. That's around...woops I was wrong, it's been around 150 years since the X series ended.

Never tested it. No, i dont believe thats possible but i believe the point of her getting damaged is that it lowers your mission score each time.
