If the donkey in this video is of mature age (5 years) there is nothing wrong here at all. Please, next time you order someone off a donkey, know about them first.

People are unbelievable in this world.
Although the guy had a gut, he wasn't hugely fat. And if this is a service to take people up the stairs, why do you offer this service at all if you're going to deny some people just because they have a stomach on them?
Additionally, this was a dangerous stunt to pull with your family there with you. If the guy riding the animal had turned violent you risk losing your life or your family's life. And over what, a donkey?

Yeah, he needed the get some exercise, but the woman who owns these donkeys depend on fat tourists for her livelihood... The fat guy demanded that he get part of what he paid back. Donkeys are incredibly strong for their size, and have the ability to easily carry up 300 lbs and have even better pulling potential - they have been used for more than 6,000 years - they are bread for these attributes.

I applaud you for your empathy towards these poor animals.For the people that work in zoos you more than anyone should know that these animals should be in a field somewhere eating grass or hay with fresh water. not going up and down the stairs carrying all this weight all day in the hot weather for money. The stairs are for people to climb not animals.
