I'm an American, but I think that any woman of her generation felt wedded to her in some way -- the big events of our lives happened at the same time (if at a smaller scale!) The more I watch him, the more impressed I am. He seems a thoughtful man, serious, but loves to have fun. He seems to want to do a good job. He is lucky she fought to be such a close mom - I'm sure she gave him everything she could to prepare him. Godspeed!

There would, however, be no obstacle to The Prince of Wales re-marrying in Scotland (as did his sister The Princess Royal) where the Royal Family are not excepted from the provisions of the Scottish Marriage legislation. Prince Charles marriage is illegal because he remarried in England and he was aware of it when he married camilla
