No. thats not what i implied or believe... i dont believe indie is a style of music... it simply means a band is not signed to a major record label...bands that call themselves indie are misusing the term. This "indie" style has become a large rock subculture... I always hear people say "i listen to indie music". WTF does that mean? Indie has become a term/prefix for music that slightly resembles a genre, but does something different that doesn't fit the box. Alternative wouldn't really be the correct choice because it's used for music with more controversial lyrics and darker subtones.

I will say that do see your point, but I'm not sure I completely agree.

Yeah, the images don't seem to support the lyrics (I say "seem" because the lyrics are awfully hard to make out most of the time) and you can make an arguement against that.

But on the other hand, there is a place in the world for *decorative* art and I would catagorize the imagry here as highly decorative.

It absolutely does take skill and imagination to do well & I see both at work here.
