Yep- they switched over the audio a split-second before the video. Strangely it seems quite a few people taped "60 Minutes" as I have a few late 70s/early 80s shows from at least 2 different tape collections I've found.

KXTV was a Corinthian station in those days, I know of 2 other Corinthian stations that used "Take A Look" as a news theme, so they most likely did.

I think KHOU used the same logo and when Corinthian sold their stations, they kept the same logo until the mid to late 1980s.

WVEC, then a Corinthian station, also used a similar logo from about 1980-1992, the "1" is the same.

They had to have used "Take A Look" since every other station with that package also used that slogan.

I don't remember their newscasts back then; I'm in the Sacramento area but don't actually have too much old TV from here!
