  • cool slideshow.... FAG

  • He doesn't show it running, there I just saved you 1:13 of your life.

  • @BMelcher09 lol yeah - I have video of the car before the body modifications but no video of this car in action now... and it has even more go-fast add on's then it did when compared to the old body video's :)

  • i have a 944 white like this one but my interior is crap and in this townn i cant find anything does anyone know a good site where i can get some nice things for it

  • @evilkidbuu4ever where are you located? I could give you a few pointers :-)

  • @Chevymonte96 Thank you :)

  • If I were into the having sex with cars thing I would bang this one, just saying.

  • @Seansterification lol :-)

  • I love this car, My comment was aimed at the guy that made the negative comment saying this was a poor man's Porsche, Most of the negative comments on YouTube come from folks that don't have anything worth showing & click on various pages only to criticize others hard work... I love your car & the obvious work that when into it:)

  • @MrKboat thanks; and I read your comment as positive :) I agree there is too much negativity in this world; and you hit it on the head that they don't actually do any work yet criticizes those who do. Thanks for the positivity :)

  • Poor mans Porsche? Is there some pics or a vid of your car we can check out?

  • @MrKboat sure - just look at the above description - there are plenty of photos; I don't have video of the car in action since the body work was done; although you can see some videos of how the car acts in my other videos :-)

  • hooray, it is still just a poor mans porsche though.

  • wondered why it looked a lil funny, then i reread the title and noticed it was a 924 lol

  • Absolutely Gorgeous Job! I'm Lovin it ya! ;o)

  • amazing job

  • @dirtyboi91 Thanks for the complement! I have to hand it to In The Works Auto Body in Ham Lake Minnesota for all their hard work and creativity to make this thing look like the exotic beauty I feel it has become!

  • @applebit924 Tres beautiful work, one would like to see the cockpit and under the engine!

  • amazing =D best looking 924 ever!

  • @patryklucarz Thanks! Most do like - I sure do :-)

  • Nice car :it would b nice to have a look at the rear bumper.i got most of the same work done skirts and lights but have a ifc bumber with splitter in front.(red)white looks nice

  • @sidcabral Ohh! There really isn't much for photos in this video of the backend... Take a look at the link via the description and you can see LOTS of pics! :)

  • Where did u get those head lights?

  • @13jdz google "gt-racing" - it's the first dot com that comes up

  • Yo what's that song?

  • @GilBatesLovesyou I forget what the artist and name is but it's one that you can AudioSwap in Youtube's selection... Anyone know where I can find the option to tell me this? I thought I could see it somewhere...

  • looks like ricer. Morelike honda prelude.I prefer Porsche original turbo design.

  • No longer a Porsche...

  • @zestydude87 :-)

  • @zestydude87 much better than a Porsche, trust me have been driving line every day for years check out 944 sleeper on you tube

  • thank you applebit924

  • hey where did you get the light conversion kit to make it where the lights don't come up when there on?

  • @camtv98 gt-racing website has um. It really does make the appearance of the car so much better IMHO :-)

  • Not the way I would've done it, but great job. I have a lot of respect for that car.

  • @darthnefas Thanks =)

  • grat job man i truely like the 968 mirrors

  • @blizzardbmw That's kinda my fav thing too :-) They are actually light weight versions (non electrical fiberglass)... The only thing on the car that is still "924" is the doors ;-)

  • Was the swap difficult?

  • @Vaicurious naw, I had @hitechmotorsport do the entire job ;-) I just had to write the check :-) Seriously though, I would not have wanted to take on that project but Hitech Motorsport had no problems doing it... they do plenty of engine conversions!

  • Good job, but you still ruined a Porsche...

  • @petrachi94 ruined.... or drastically improved? ;-)

  • @applebit924 @applebit924 applebit, I must say. This Porsche to "ME" look quite disgusting and also very stupid, but in the end it's all a matter of perspective. I own an 84 944, 85.5 NA 944, completely stock; I AM NOT SAYING MINE IS BETTER THAN YOURS, but the 944s already come with a bodykit of their own, they're very low cars and they already have a front spolier, rear spoiler, and a very nice "curve" on the back. The one thing I'm happy about though is the thorough engine modifications.

  • @petrachi94 Thanks for your thoughts :-) Not everyone enjoys the same look, but it's nice to hear all opinions.

  • @applebit924 how much that cost you cuz i just got this porsche but want a nicer looking body kit like this or something better.....

  • @purpledemolition It will cost *a lot* more then the original car is worth. But if you are planning on keeping the car its worth it!

  • Man, I had no idea so many were doing this. My first car was a 924 that me and my dad put a chevy drivetrain in, back in 1992. Although it did not look nearly this good, it did run like a scolded dog! Makes me want another one, excellent job!

  • @2008Flyboy Thanks for the complements! The original engine even heavily modified still was not even 1/2 of what this power compares to.

  • Chevy small-block...Replacing lesser engines since 1950. Ha ha.

Great LS1 swap and beautifull car. Tell me, is that a drive-by-wire or cable throttlebody?

  • @originaldriver Thanks! The throttle was converted to cable driven due to the big 90 mm throttle body upgrade =)

  • @applebit924 Damned beautiful build. Keep up the carnage!!

  • where did you get the bodykit from?

  • @timmyboyo19 Custom from two body kits actually - the description above gives you great info on all the details! =)

  • no engine pictures??

  • @firechicken76 you can get more info from the text above - it shows pics :-)

  • your my hero..

  • You on Rennlist? I'd like to read up on this car some more.

  • @TheHevquip I am on rennlist but the best place to read on this car is look in the description above :-)

  • looks like a 944 now

  • @MangoSmoothie16 kind of! The rear is it's own look and the integrated side skirts really set it apart in my opinion. Notice also the deleted sunroof and deleted rain gutters as well as the 944 Turbo windshield update :-) There are lots more details as well but I'll let you play "Where's Waldo" with um ;-)

  • @applebit924 I honestly dont know much about these cars. I didnt know there was a special windshield for the turbo. I do like the headlight. I just thought the wide fenders gave it a 944ish stance. I like the hood too. I notice mirrors, spoiler, wheels just obv stuff. This care does remind me of a 944 turbo but still verry unique. Im not sure I could tell it started as a 924. I also like the LS1 (I believe that was still the vette engine of 99)

  • @MangoSmoothie16 You got it all correct :) The only thing 924 about this car is the dash at this point!

  • @MangoSmoothie16 lost the unique identity of the car - but its unique in itself. the fnish looks excellent.

  • @paulhunter123 Thanks! It was actually very hard for me to lose the 924 look since I grew up with it but I think it turned out well... I didn't want people to say "That's just another 944..." - I think that was accomplished :-)

  • also lets see some vids of it running!

  • @TheNobleM15 look at my profile - I have lots of video before the body work of it running... I'll do something this year when the snow melts - I'm anxious for that!!

  • this is my goal for a 944. (i know it's a 924) it looks exactly how i envisioned a 944 to be haha where did you get the body parts? it looks just perfect

  • @TheNobleM15 I decided since youtube doesn't allow URL's in these posts to post the thread build in the description - check it out! You'll find tons of info!

  • @TheNobleM15 I posted the link to the body build in the description - check it out! :)

  • nice work!

  • @prinzotzelot thanks! In The Works Auto Body in Ham Lake Minnesota are the artists!

  • This looks very very good, well work =)

  • @w33z0r also much appreciated :) It was a long winter when this was done... was so anxious to see the end results and this is what became of it :)
