I lost my Girl of 17 years when I had to put her to sleep when she could no longer get up and walk and cried. She looked so much like this pup. I loved her so very much. Its been 2 years now. Recently I also lost her companion 'Pup". He was 16. Just a sweet old fella. He was backed over. sad way to go.

Do you know if springers are known to be aggressive? We had to put mine down because he bit a lot. We had a cocker before who would never get into any trouble, and the springer was a good dog, yes but very aggressive. I know cockers/springers are different breeds, but they aren't too different.
@MonkeyMojo54 Hi, I can sympathise with you, when we first had Ben, I was actually afriad of him, he was so horrible, he would bite my ankles and growl at me all the time. He wrecked my arm by pulling so hard on the lead. The softly softly approach to training just didn't work and I had to be quite hard in the end - he soon learned what the end of a stick felt on his backside. Now he's 4 and calmed down a lot. I finally enjoy him and love him.

my springer nearly died recently while we were on holiday in france and we had to be told by my stepdads mum over the phone that we had the choice of paying £11,000 in vet bills or get him put donw but he was fine and we got him back now not that the vets knew what was wrong with him but i can almost sympithise with how u feel and it is a horrible feeling
Dougal was a very, very pretty and smart Spaniel! I feel very sad about his death. Actually almost happened to my Spaniel - my friend through a CD across the road and she went across to get it and on the way back a car hit her. Luckily the old man wasn't traveling too fast, he didn't run over her, just hit her with his bumper. She immediately threw up (I took her to a vet. checked out fine!) She was just badly bruised and soar for a couple of days, but now she is doing very well... I'm glad

My old springer met his end by a kid too, was a stone the kid threw right next to some high ledges. Never been so upset in all my life, He'd never of gone over them if the kid hadn't thrown the stone, but can't blame a child can you? such a shame.

@sensabens So sorry! He was adorable! I have had springers all my life (have a mom and daughter now) - they are wonderful dogs! My mama dog thinks she is a mom to our guinea pigs (check out my video of her) - she is just so nurturing! Hope you can get another one!
I dont get why people give docked tails such crap.
I've had three springers, the first one had a docked tail and the other two didn't. Looking back now it would've been better if they had been, they wag their tails so fast they can hurt themselves (and other people! it's like a whip!) they're forever getting bramble bushes &all sorts of other stuff tangled in the feathering of their tails. As long as they're puppies when its docked i dont see the harm they dont really seem that bothered either!
aww he is so cute reminds me of my pup there very excitable and sometimes go crazy at home but there so adorable loveavable and cute it doesnt bother me
Aw such a cutie pie! absolutely adorable, bless him, I love springers they are so intelligent and sweet, I love the velvet fur under the chin LOL, their coats are so soft.
he is An English Springer Spaniel...very cute and intelligent!He is 7 months old now so I will have to upload a new video to show how much he has grown!

She died, so we got a new one, the new dogs tail is doc'd, and her tail makes her :D
