this is a nice song and GOOD vocal sound. halfway cross between Miranda Lambert and early dolly (parton) without sounding like either.

if you don't have one, get a CD comp with Jean Shepard's 50's Capitol sides (she cut almost 100) -- neat Okie voice that was the best hard-country honky-tonk singer of that era

I like this. The acoustics are not that great. Try the bathroom or use a boom mic. I would like to see this cleaned up in a studio with some other instruments. It's lacking something, but i just can't put my finger on it right now. It's not the lyrics. You need a bigger room perhaps. Better mic. Some sound boards on the wall. Something.

Other than that, i like it; as with all your stuff!
