Got one of these back in December and after my 510 and my Stick for a while, I was shocked that the 401's are better IMHO than both as far as taste&compared to the regular sized 510 (not the mega), this lasts hours as far as the battery. Plus the PCC is a "Power Pack" so it turns off once the battery is done charging

I now regret getting the 510. I still like the Stick since it's is a normal rechargable, but the button drives me insane. Sometimes ya' just want to feel like a ciggie in your hand

I have an m401 (from another company) and I agree that the cart design is terrible. However, you can drip twice onto the atomizer, then dip it into your kief collection *wink nudge*

I use it ONLY for that purpose now and I'm able to get away with getting high in public(no odor). Also, don't forget that the 401 and 510 batteries/carts are interchangeable so what I do is keep a kief dipped 401 atomizer and just screw it onto my 510 manual batt. so... "drip, dip... trip" :P

The 403 Battery is real small. Fully assembled, the M403 is the same size as a KR or Penstyle battery. It's cool. I can hang it from my lip like an analog. I use it more than my other devices now. IDK it is just the first one I pick up these days. I have the 401 batteries but after using the 403 they seem real long... lol... Give em a try... I actually ordered them by mistake thinking it was the bigger one of the three. Don't last long though. Maybe two hours max

I've been using my 403 for a few weeks now. Really like it. I actually caught myself trying to flick the ashes off the end so I agree it does feel just like the real deal. I just hope the heck I don't throw it out the window...lol.... I don't use the carts either. Dipping into the contact lens case is great....... Thanks for this review because it helped me decide to order one. I suggest trying the 403 batteries.

i just ordered one of these from Innovapor based on your review...how would you rate this against a different 401? your desk would make the 401 i got on monday light up like a christmas tree. so far though im happy with the 401...my 510 was the first ecig i ordered, but seems to have dropped off in vapor production and flavor lately and i dont know if its because i got the new attys that have been a nuisence on the boards lately...thanks for the great vids

strange , i have not had any battery issues with mine , not even in the car with loud music or anything. My "new and improved" atty is still going strong after 5 days so far , no drop in quality. If you are VERY careful you could try the "dry burn" technique. where you run the atty red hot for about 4 seconds , let it cool down , and repeat that about 5-6 times. a bunch of my attys worked better after doing that but it's also easy to kill them , and the first 10 drags will taste really bad.

hey with all your testing, which would you recommend for a cigarette size e-cig using the cart(i.e. for smoking when your out with a PCC). I ordered the JOYE510 w/ PCC but looking for a smaller device to carry around with me.

The EVO is by far the smallest device i have used , but the 510 will have a better cart and battery life , and with a PCC i think would be your best option.

GrimmGreen, this is grant, i noticed on your evo you have the 2 min cut off and if you look at scott's latest vid on the newest evo model, he says that it got switched to a ten sec cut off instead of a 2min, and i believe they carry the batteries in black so you could look into that, cuz i was gonna buy an evo months ago but like many, i was afraid of the 2min wait but now i prbly will buy one with the 10sec cut off, check out scotts vid

Yeah eastmall has a 401 passthrough 13 bucks...innovapor got them for 25...same thing..they should cut price to like 18-20 bucks...the shipping from eastmall is what kills the deal...if you're ordering 200bucks from eastmall...I would definately add a 401 passtrough

Nick, if you get a wild hair, go to Walmart and buy a contact lens case ($1.79) and fill the bottoms w/ you Marlbro (or Special Blend #5). Then, simply, dip the tip of the cart in the case - much quicker than having to watch the drops from the bottle.

The M401 was my first PV. Gave it to my wife. Can't decide on my 510 OR VK.

for easy dripping, i removed the inner cart and cut the top off the cart. now drip and inhale, no pulling the cart off/on. cart length depends on how much heat you can take and how steady your hands are. mine is just a little longer then the top of the atomizer

Hey there. With my m401 I use a saftey pin to push up the cart then i put the pin down the side of the cart and drip against the pin. This allows the juice to drip further down into the cart allowing more juice and less refilling. Hope this works for you!

Dripping should be fine. I've had these and other batts apart and there is a silicon diaphram protecting the mic/circuitry. My main gripe with these is the mic is more sensitive than others I've tried to road noise when driving. Otherwise a decent starter e-cig. Atty's typically only last me about 2 weeks though. Whereas my 510 and 306a atty and batts have been going strong for 2 months now. Quick note: the knockoff 401's from DX, while cheaper quality have a pressure switch instead of a mic.
