I'm in college now, and I've had my share of crises in faith. If it weren't for AWANAs, they'd be alot harder to handle than they are now.

It's also because of AWANAs that I could memorize my 15-page Senior thesis that I had to deliver in front of 500 people for my high school degree.

Regardless of how you turn out later in life, AWANAs is a social, spiritual, and intellectual experience every christian parent should consider for their children.

I have been a T&T leader now for 56 years. Its amazing to see how these kids do. In our last Awana we average 16 to 17 T&T boys. Out of this 11 of them finished there books.

I was soo upset when they changed to T&Ters. I loved chums and guards so much better. This is too sing-songy. I hated it so much that I quit after one year of it.

There were a lot of weaknesses to the old curriculum, and though there are still weaknesses in the new curriculum I think it's still excellent. This format makes it much easier for small churches. If you couldn't stick with the program because of modernization I'm sorry for you.
