What about coupons with expiration dates? How can you collect those and wait for a sale when they expire? Not all stores accept them within 6 weeks/months or whatever. So what would we do in that situation?

1) When you say the grocery store has a 6 week cycle for items going on sale, do you mean on basically every (shelf-type) item? And 2) Do you mean that a sale item may be on sale for a week and then it would go off sale and it, (speaking of the same item) doesn't go back on sale again for another 6 weeks? (I understand the actual cycles vary by store and city, etc…)

so, are there any sites to go to that will send you coupons? i tried looking up general mills to see if i could get them to send me that "insert" you were talking about, but couldn't find it off hand. i'll try again later when i'm in the mood to do some digging, but i'm just curious.

(something i had to share, it made me laugh) your cellphone going off midway made me jump and look for my phone... i have the same tone go off when i get a text message. i ended up pausing the video to go look for it, only to realize it was in front of me the whole time. 2 minutes wasted. oh well, it was worth it for the laugh i had.

I lucked out and at my grocery store they had the Sunday paper for .50 an issue for a year. :) Look for deals with your local paper. How many papers do you usually purchase a week?

How do I find out if my grocery store doubles coupons?

Can these techniques be used with cosmetics?

1.You will need to watch for a month or two. the cycles last about 12 weeks each. I go to shop n save and they have a monthly sale. Also get friendly with the cashiers and they can give you information.

2. Ask at your grocery store. Also ask for a copy of the coupon policy and a list of the isles and what items are in each isle.

I would love to collect coupons without buying newspaper to solely get coupons. So far a reliable site is coupon.com is where I get manufacture coupons.
