Actually, the pronunciation is pretty great. Rs aren't actually R's in Japanese; they're more like a mix of Rs and Ls, resulting in a soft D type of sound.

Hmm, I don't think you're hearing CwR's pronunciation right. I've never heard CwR pronouncing a Japanese "R" using a hard English "R" sound. She pronounced it close to being an "L" sound, including the "hitori" and "kara" in this song. I should know 'cause I've done numerous remixes of CwR's singing using Audacity, especially this song (which I requested).
