@rebelfan1216 Shemya: Lucky you! (SHUDDER!) We had a P-15 at Grand Forks, ND, LOVED to ride the rear turret on it. It was a big 'ol beast, wasn't it? Hats off to the mechanics, we had a BUFF blow up on the ramp while Crash 15 was down for maintenance, those boys worked like an Indy pit crew to get her put back together and ready to roll, with the chief screaming bloody murder on the radio the whole time: "EXPEDITE! EXPEDITE!"
@DFrnkln06 I don't think the P-15 was at Goodfellow when I went through 9 years ago. But I've heard about it...usually gets brought up when I show my buddies this video.

I never saw a fully functional P-15, I only saw what once use to be a P-15 now a display model at the DoD Fire Academy at Goodfellow AFB, TX

23 years later I still find myself fondly looking back at the very few photos I have of our P-15. Always enjoyed getting assigned to it.
