Im having trouble with patterns. I have fruity loops 9, and when i create 1 pattern and go to create another, if i change the instruments on the 2nd pattern, the ones on the first change too. Is this supposed to happen?

@MrJcm94 the instruments shown are the instruments that you can use. if you remove them you can no longer use that instrument. don't delete or change the instruments on the second pattern just create new ones
