  • Ok thanks

  • Do you know where I can find a seat for mine?

  • @coutryboi12 you can look on ebay or maybe an ATV parts store near you.

  • where is the 4 wheel drive linkage on that i got the same quad and cant find it

  • @danscnater09 i have no idea dude sorry.

  • I have a 97 model 4x4. I got it from my grandfather before he passed away. I remember the day i got it. He let me have it. I got it with the original tires and it didnt have probably 100 mi on it. Built like a brick house. HONDA QUALITY!!

  • @jon1collins2345 cool, yep they are great ATV :] it was the original tires before those one you see on the quad, i changed the original tires back in 1999, they were still in good condition for another 5 to 10 years but these tires were on sales so i bought them to replace the original tires.

  • OH FRIEND I EVER HAD ONE OF THOSE LEFT BEHIND AND I AM FROM MEXICO TOUR WITH MY HONDA FourTrax SAWS

WALKING UP TO 8 hours without REST IS GREAT

    THE BEST OF HONDA

    HONDA 300cc FourTrax

  • @fibazi001 yep, you cant hurt them, they are built like a tank.

  • 10,000 for it

  • @8ball1098 nope sorry but if you really want to spend 10 000$ on a quad, get a 2012 model lol

  • you can tell he redid all the parts, well not all of them but, if he actually drove it, wouldnt look like that, trust me i have the same fourwheeler and those arent the original tires and those stickers you can tell those were replaced and theres alot more he redid, but despite that, everyone should have this fourhwheeler IT LASTS FOR EVER

  • @60skidlostinspace nope, everythings on it are all original, except the battery, air filter, the tires on it i bought them back in 1999, the stickers are all original, i never redid anything on it except those few things i said. yep, i ride it but not much on the trails anymore, i mostly do sum work with it around the house, when the work is done, hes going back in my toolshed till the next time, theres no mud or anything dirty around the house so the quad stay clean.

  • @DeathShallRise well ok, sorry for being judgmental at first but where i live in Eganville Ontario Canada when someone buys a fourwheeler or even a new one it doesn't look brand new after 2 days because we use our fourwheeler, im just not used to seeing a fourwheeler thats like 20 years old to look like new anyway nice fourwheeler and you going to sell it or keep it cuz every honda owner knows that these fourwheelers LAST FOR EVER!!!

  • @hotrodsho101 no problem dude, yes i know what you mean, those quads are made to be ridden in the mud, woods, snow.... almost anything. yes i keep it, yep they are well known for their legendary reliability.

  • @DeathShallRise the 300s were good reliable old machines but the old 250s (85-87) has em beat by a longshot

  • @avengingknight yea, i had a 250 1987 model, it was my first ATV but the timing chain was defective right from the showroom floor but i didnt knew it, a few months later the electric start broke down and it also had sum electrical problems, i remember i was like Honda eh? lol. those thing can happen....even on a Honda. i kept it 4 years then i sold it for that 300. that 250 was just a bad luck i guess coz i never heard anything bad about those 250s.

  • @DeathShallRise yeah even the best of machines will occasionally have a defect amongst em

  • @DeathShallRise lol if you want to see my honda fourtrax same as yours but its 1995, mine is pretty beat, if ya want just type in at youtube, hotrodsho101.

  • @hotrodsho101 yep i did ;) see my comment lol

  • man thats mint! my bikes identicle only faded blue and duct tape patches on the plasic :/

  • @caper900 thx, for the faded color of your plastic, you can try armor all, why duct tape on the plastic?

  • @DeathShallRise hahaha its the easyest thing to use for the holes in it... ...i just spray paint it blue...and armoral? im gonna have to try that....you take excelent care of the bike man :P

  • @caper900 ah ok lol thx :]

  • man that is very, very nice, i'm gettin a '91 model too in a few days, for $400!!!! It needs a little work, but not to much, i'm gonna try to get lookin pretty good, but the plastics might be faded too much, what you think might help em look better? i will post up a video of pics when i get it.

  • @weldermatt07 cool, they are nice ATV, as for the plastics goes, you can look my other video on my channel, honda fourtrax 300 update, it can gives you sum ideas :)

  • any body interested in buying mine? i built it from ground up buying parts from a site. it is literally brand new and about 2 hours on it just by letting it run. it is green. and a 2011 model because i built it this year. started in april. sank 4000 in the bike. any ofrers? selling for 3000

  • can you disengage 4x4 when it is not needed?, thanks in advance.

  • @petervelker1990 no, 4x4 always on.

  • i got a 1997 honda fourtrax 300 its always nice to know i can wash of every part and make it look like that.

  • @dragonmaster391 glad to hear im not alone lol

  • @dragonmaster391 i hav the same thing but mines tan with desert camo decal

  • I have a 1995 honda fourtrax 300 4x4. My does not look that good in shape.

  • we hav an old 1991 4trax 2WD with ITP mudders on it still runs but needs work. (battery, brakes, oil, & oil filter)

  • @dextrain6 easy to do those thing :) basic maintenance

  • CLEAN!!!!

  • @BigHoss3030 thx :]

  • From the looks of it, I personally wouldn't be afraid to give $4,000 (U.S.) for this one. No other atv out there today is made like this one. If I was you, there's no way I'd ever sell it...

  • @231MasseyFerguson ty:)

yea i keep it, i take care of it so it will live forever i guess, it still running strong, the video is 2 years old but it still look the same, i mean no crack fender or anything.

  • @DeathShallRise Do you ever ride it? What do you use to keep everything shining? The engine and differentials are still shiney with no mud stains or anything... How do you do it??

  • @231MasseyFerguson yes lol but not as much as i used to, i ride it but most of the time its around the house to do sum work with it, not much trail riding anymore.

i use Armor All to keep the original 'brand new' blue color of the plastic, it also protect the plastic from the sun and can 'hide' sum small scratches.

  • how much could i get one for?

  • @SKitles888 a nice clean 300 like mine, the seller could ask atleast 2500$ for it, canada money.

  • @DeathShallRise

I haven't seen one like yours---not in that kind of shape, anyway. I doubt if anyone has one in that condition---unless it's been restored...

  • @sldl04 thx :) the only thing i have done to it its i spray painted the racks a few years ago, changed tires, changed the air filter for a K&N, the motor has never been open except for valve adjustement every 2-3 years and of course changing the motor oil, oil filter once a year in my case.

my neighbor has a honda atv trx125 1985, pretty clean just like mine, no crack fenders or anything but he ride it only 3-4 times a year, the man is around 80 years old.

  • @DeathShallRise

It's pretty incredible when even the motor looks like new. It's very difficult, if not impossible, to get the motor to look like that unless it doesn't have many hours/miles on it. The jug and cooling fins look like new. You can't have many hours on it.

  • @sldl04 i use it at least once a week but when i do, sumtimes its only for 10-15 minutes, depends what i have to do.

i dont know exactly how many hours on it but probably not much since i dont do much trail riding with it anymore.

  • Nice quad---they;re a classic. I wouldn't mind owning one...

  • @sldl04 thx, yea they are ultra reliable, Honda quality at his best.

  • @DeathShallRise

Hondas forever. We just bought a 2010 rancher and I've fell in love with it. change the oil and keep the air filters clean and they'll run forever.

  • @sldl04 congrats :] a used one or brand new from show room floor?

yep, i do that every years.

  • @DeathShallRise

Not show room---it had 419 miles on it. The guy bought it new last fall then traded it in for a Big Red. We went riding today---it was awesome. By the way---did you buy your fourtrax new?? Or did you restore it like this? It's mint!!!

  • @sldl04 cool :)

yep, i bought mine brand new, if i remember well, it cost 6000$ canada money back in 1991, im the only owner and im the only one who work with it, my brother rode it maybe 4-5 times but thats all.

before that one, i had a 1987 Honda 250 ATV, utility quad, not the race one, but that one was not bulletproof, one year later the cam chain became defective, shit happens, even on a Honda hehe

  • @DeathShallRise

That's cool---and you take care of your quad very well. I wouldn't mind picking up a Fourtrax IF I could find one in decent shape that hasn't been beat. I've been scouting Ebay, but nothing much on there right now. I've got a 2001 250EX that's in nice shape---I bought it used a couple of years ago. I'll have to post a video of it so you can see it. I replaced the seat and tires---and waxed it. That's about it.

  • @sldl04 that would be cool, id love to see it:]

  • @DeathShallRise

It's not in as nice as shape as yours, but it's pretty cool I'll try to find some time to upload a vid.

  • @sldl04 cool, thx :]

  • i have those tires on my foreman 400. dont get them ifu ride hard packed!

  • @HugeRedneck7 they are mostly made for woods riding and sum mud now and then.

  • were do u find ur back tire at

  • @197bcm3smp4bbm5cnp6 at a ATV parts store in my area but that was 12 years ago, i bought them in '99.

  • did you just pull it out of a time capsule or what? lol Nice!

  • @Mustang50turbo88 lol no, thx :)

  • did you put new plasticts on it and were did you get those tires?

  • @oceans11able no, the plastic on it is all original.

i bought those tires at a local ATV parts store 11 years ago and they work great, they are Excavator by Duro.

  • That's beautiful man, I have a 1995 fourtrax 300 but mines green (and not shiney) did you put those reflectors on it? cause i've never seen one with them. And how can I make my quad street legal like yours? (saw the plate)

  • @BEASTsatisfaction those reflectors were already on it when i bought it, 2 of those reflectors broke since 1991, broke them while ridin in the woods, branches hit them. they should be available at a Honda dealer near you (its pretty expensive)

the quad is not street legal but you need that plate to ride in the ATV trails and ride on the side on the road, if a cop see your plate, usually cops dont mine (even so i got arrested one time while ridin on the side of a road, at your own risk)

  • @BEASTsatisfaction road legal?!?! lmfao plates dont mean there road legal

  • GOOD SHAPE!

  • @EvanRules87 thx, never been abused

  • man that thing is MINT

  • @radioactiveload thx :)

  • i missed an amazing deal on the exact same machine, and seeing this just reminds me of it thanks for that ;)

  • @11bbbbbbbbbbb np ;) even if you missed a deal, you still can find a blue one like mine for sale over the internet, even if they got beaten, they still running strong day after day hehe

  • haha i hav exact same quad and tires. those r excuvators i believe, right?

  • @HugeRedneck7 yea they are lol, excavator by Duro, i like them.

they are on this atv since 1999.

  • @DeathShallRise ya they do good in snow and soft terrain. plus they're great for all utility work. but im doin more road riding now and these things are pretty bad for pavement or hard packed

  • @HugeRedneck7 for hard packed you should try ITP tires, they are into utility ATV tires too.

do you have a vid of your ATV ?

  • @DeathShallRise @DeathShallRise ya this is my other acount where i got the vids on. click the one with the quad doin donuts which is the 1997 400 honda. im goin to check out the ITP's, u know of any specific type thts good for all around stuff. my excavators r really wearin down.

  • @mackyyoyoyo i heard that ITP Holeshot ATR are very good, look on their website.

nice 400 but its not a 300 like mine as you said lol

  • @DeathShallRise haha ya my bad. the holeshots look good. since the quad is full time 4x4 do u know if u need the same size and type of tire for rear/ front. im also looking at the maxis big horn tire

  • @mackyyoyoyo bigger size means more ground clearance so its easier to ride in the mud also but mine are all the same size as the original tires that were on it when i bought it brand new, like i said i dont do much trail riding with it anymore, i mostly stay around the house doing sum work with it, so the ground clearance doesnt bother me much, depend what your doing with your ATV.

i never tried maxxis tires but i heard they are good too.

  • Soo clean. These things are the best theyll run forever, very nice bike. Trading my ttr 230 for a 250 fourtrax tomorrow :)

  • @TSMColby yea, they are well known for their legendary reliability, i never had any single problem with it.

    i had a 250 back in 1987, i sold it for that 300

  • @DeathShallRise i still have a 1985 runs like a champ

  • @barkerfmx yea they will never die, you cant kill a Honda, you can put water instead of the oil and they still running lol

  • @DeathShallRise funny you would say that last time i changed mine it was water and mudd the motor got so hott that the bolts that hold esuast on fell of i just clamped it and but some fresh oil in there and runs the same as it did which is great

  • @barkerfmx it will live for another 10 years lol

  • @DeathShallRise How are the 250's? good bike?

  • @TSMColby yea they are :) i never had any problems at all with this one also for 4 years i had it.

  • that looks alot like a bayou 250

  • it is so clean u must never ride it

  • @impmatrix read the other comments and youll understand why so clean.

  • hey does anyone know where I can find a Big Bore Kit for my honda 300? thumperracing doesn't make them anymore I dont think

  • @laxxmann4610 hummmmm from memory no sorry, i think the best bet for you its to upgrade to a Rancher 350 or their 420

  • i have friend with a green one its in 10 to 6

  • @sonic2000ish whats 10 to 6?

  • @DeathShallRise the way its look like how beat up it is

  • that thing is in beautiful shape. Im trying to find a blue one like that for my wife.

  • @jonny5662 thx. its a great ATV, its old but they are very reliable and nimble fun to ride, your wife will like it if you find one.

  • mann that is nice

  • @fullpull100 thx

  • did you ever ride that thing?

  • @redneckmarine100 yes lol but like i said to others, i dont do much trail riding with it anymore, i mostly use it to do sum light work with it around the house so the quad stay clean.

  • Nice looking quad. Hard to believe its a 1991... It looks in mint condition.

  • @baker1444 thx :)

  • @DeathShallRise dude i got an 88' and i love it there the best quads out there. INDESTRUCTIBLE any terrain

  • @XxCowboy51xX yea they are very well made, honda quality at his best.

they are well known for their legendary reliability record.

  • @XxCowboy51xX yo, same man 88' for the win! any honda will outlast any other atv on the market.

  • Thing looks like new :)

  • @cdawg4391 thx:)

  • so clean

  • @behemoth6664 thx :)

  • @DeathShallRise I have a fourtrax 4x4 1992 but he was not clean like your :P xD

  • @behemoth6664 post a video of it hehe

    is it blue like mine?

  • @DeathShallRise yess is blue but i don't have camera sorry

  • @behemoth6664 oh ok

  • in great shape

  • @proline155 yes, thx :)

  • would u be interested in sell it?

  • @mudthrower007 no, i need it when i do sum work around the house.

  • @DeathShallRise r u sure?

  • The moter will never come to a end they are the best moters ever built u can run them with no oil and they would keep going there all huge roller bearings in the bottem of the moter there built prof almost haha the drive train gos before the moter does trust me on that

  • @jamespinfold99 ty, ill keep that in mine lol:)

  • could i buy the seat

  • the seat? lol

  • Thats really tidy. Best bike ever made! :-)

  • yea :) i dunno how many years left for this atv, i mean the motor will come to an end one day but i take care of it so a few more years i guess lol

  • heck, rebuild it and keep on going, those 4 wheelers are worth it. that thing is super clean

  • @Ericbranson3 yea thats what i thought too.

  • Awesome honda. cant beat an old honda. looks brand new and its a 91. i just got through restoring a 98 fourtrax 300 2x4. turned out great. got a few vids on it when i was working on it. ill put the last one up over the next couple of days.

  • yea bulletproof atv, its old but i like it.

yes ive seen your video, very nice work on that honda :)

  • that is a great looking atv

  • thx

  • nice ride. they don't make them like that anymore. the fourtrax 300 is the toughest atv ever

  • yea, i never had any single problem with it.

  • has that thing even seen mud?? haha man if i rode it but u got a nice bike and u ride it how u think it shuld be rode

  • lol yes but not so often. like i said to others here, i mostly use it around the house so the quad stay clean.

  • I can tell you take very good care of that thang man nice fourwheeler ive got one like it but its a 1993 model

  • yes i do, ty :)

  • yea its cool, ive seen it.

you cant hurt those 300 hehe

  • that's a really clean bike for its age

  • thx :)

  • What size tires you got on there? I have a 1981 ATC 185s that I love. Now I want to get my first fourwheeler. Trying to find a Honda Fourtrax 300 4x4.

  • i dont remember exactly dude sorry, the quad is in storage in my toolshed for the winter season and i dont go there in winter coz too much snow around it and the doors are probably frozen but the tires are Excavator by Duro and they have amazing traction everywhere, look at their website.

  • Im probably going to go with stock size tires to make it easier on the drivetrain and engine. I think im going with the GBC Gators. I have to find me a 300 Honda Fourtrax first though, lol.

  • if i remember well i bought those excavator tires the same size as the original that came with the quad.

you will not regret it, they are very fun to ride and...of course... they are bullet proof.

  • holy fuck i wished mine was in that good a shape

  • these quads are absolutely bullet proof

  • yes they are.

  • wow i have the 89 version for plowing and it looks like shit compared to yours, that thing looks amazing for a 91, great job with maintaining it.

  • ty, yes i take care of it hehe, those honda 300 are bullet proof, i never had any single problem with it

  • i have the same one same year i think but my honda however is waren down it needs a bunch of new things like a new rear axle and a new wierharnes and seat

  • holly shit! that thing is in fuckin hella good condition! i have a green '92 and it looks hella lot dertyer. and needs a new seel for the pressure release valve

  • thx, i dont do much trail ridin with it like i used to, i mostly use it now for light work around the house every now and then so the quad stay clean hehe

  • oh yeah thats good. but uh do u happend to know were i can get a new seel for the presure release valve?

  • maybe at a honda dealer near you

  • i have a 1996 honda fourtrax exactly the same as that one its identical but not as mint as that beast

  • dude me too. mine wont go fast, every gear exept 5th is so close together.. is that normal?
