Rape is a crime, who do it may face death in saudi arabia. In islam, we are required to make them wear and eat like us. We are not allowed to despise them. But, many people here do not practice islam. They practice power similar to redneck power over blacks. it is race Power!!!.

I already read those Hadits, and you know what, those hadits was telling about a story, it was describing about some condition where someone should respect their slave in particular condition,so its can't taken as general veiw of islam on slave, u can't cited half by half.

(Here, Muslims had taken female slaves, and had sex with them. Muhammad approved of this.)

On the day when it was her turn to be with the Prophet, she said, "Do you know, O Allah's Apostle, that I have manumitted my slave-girl?" He said, "Have you really?" She replied in the affirmative. He said, "You would have got more reward if you had given her (i.e. the slave-girl) to one of your maternal uncles."
@Obbieafri manimitting (release from slavery) is good or bad depending on the circumstances. if the slave as no home/job money etc then he will suffer great hardship and may sleep on the street. the master has a right to look after the slave the same way he would to their family.but if a slave wants to be free and has the means to care for himself and repay any debt owed, then the master has no choice but to free him. by giving a slave to someone more wealthier, it is only benefiting the slave.
