very informative video. i have a case for my ddj-s1, and had to go out and do my homework in person cuz videos like this weren't to be found anywhere. much props to you for doing this. you might already have found this out by now, but you may get a more sturdy base by flipping the top over and setting the ball of the bottom on the bottom of the lid. it fits in there perfectly and will prevent it from shifting on you while you are mixing like it did at 7:20

Turn the lid over before you put the case on it!

@Chazyorkshire I did start turning the lid over after someone else pointed that out to me, but found I didn't like it that way as much. So now I have gone back to the way I am doing it in this video. Works for me. :)

@popperjguapo It doesn't lock in place, but it never moves unless I move it. It never just randomly moves and I love that it can slide because I do sometimes slide it forward when I'm gigging to see something up close and then slide it back when I'm done.

@DeMoKiiDxX The Hercules RMX also has 1/4th inch outputs and RCA outputs on the back to connect to a mixer, amp or powered speakers.

@DeMoKiiDxX You wil need a PC jack to the headphone jack then splits into 2 male RCA jacks.Then u

need a 2 female RCA jack adapters. Then u need a 4 male RCA jack with a filter in da middle like the one

used in car stereo's. U can find it at Radio Shack then another set of female Jacks and another set of regular

jack's to extend it to a set of "amp built in" powered speakers. The way i typed it is the layout to hook it up to get sound to big speakers.

i just bought that case at e bay for $150 buy now price. for my vci-300 is the same case i guess. i store my laptop in the bottom compartment with some cutting and fitting of the padding is a nice snug fit for my lenovo think pad, i use my uber stand for my kp3. tnx for video.

@duve2200 It's for the RMX and the Hercules Steel. I am not sure about the E2. You may want to contact Odyssey about that. I bet they could modify it for the E2 if it doesn't fit as is.

nice vid you know that the case is made to sit on top of the lid u have the right idea but u have to flip the lid so that the corner balls sit on top of each other the bottom of the case corners are dented in so it won't slip.
