Way back when I was younger, I wasn't smart enough to NOT attack him during his mirror stance. I was so frustrated at this part of the game.

this was never boring game to me there always something going on. and i never got a chance to beat Xenogears but i was close to beating the first disc. this iz a classic ! I CANT STAND fina fantasy junkies there are much better rpg games out.

hmmmm it sould be more easy if you fill tour AP bar and launch a devastating combo against Ramsus, a combo of deathblows probably 3 or 4 and more damage.

I miss games like this. Nowadays production values and development costs are significantly shortening the length of the games. Back when games weren't *as* expensive (they were never exactly cheap, to be fair) to develop and when graphics weren't a huge issue, more time could be thought into creating long games with complex stories and characters.

xenogears is part 5 of the xenosaga series,or at least it was supposed to. in the original plan of monolith xenogears was going to be the 5 part of the six part game serie xenosaga, and they were going to remake it on ps2 or ps3. but due to a change in the original script in 2 and the premature cancellation of the project upon the 3rd game we may not see a remake for some time at least. my advice try xenosaga its as good or better than xenogears.

originally monolith wwanted the serie of xenosaga to be composed of 6 games: the 3 that came out, a 4th game, a remake of xenogears and a 6th one. however due to numerous factors including changes on the 2nd game script and squarenix still holding rights over xenogears the project was ended prematurely in Xeno 3. maybe in the future they will retake the project, or i hope so.

This was a pretty neat part of the game and unique because most rpgs dont have you go sneaking around with only 1 character. Bart surely is good at sneaking around and this music fitted perfect with it. By the way you play Lunar SSSC, BoF3 and 4, those are some of my faves.

which ones are your favorite? i like all of the ones mentioned and more but Xenogears is one of a kind and a great experience. when i play it i just get so engulfed into it from the story, chracters, areas and damn is the music good from the towns, dungeons, to the fighting it all fits perfectly. i wish there was an Xenogears 2 or something with Fei still in it.

Xenogears is and will probably remain my favorite RPG. I also have a soft spot for Persona 3 and Persona 4, which are both my 2nd and 3rd favorite RPGs.

As for Lunar, it's just like Grandia, there is something simply magical about those games.

i feel kind of left out for not getting into the Persona series...i dont think ive even played the first one. i know it's pretty good though judging from the popularity but ofcourse it'll ultimately boil down to my personal taste as well but i think i'd like it. theres some other games i enjoy and favor other than xenogears, like vagrant story, suikoden, and star ocean 2 and a few others i cant think of the top of my head at the moment lol. and i agree lunar and grandia are special in their ways
