Jol is part of a band called Gasoline Cowboy and is one of the head engineers at the Lab, I've recorded with him.
I think it's obvious that it's real cause some of the timings are pretty shoddy - especially compared to the quicktime movie they show in the first part. There's no way they could get it perfect and they haven't, and that's what shows it's real!
how on earth is this fake . why the fuck would he lie ? hes top boy for vodaphone. your weak mind could not take it in , does not mean its not true. great job all. alot of effort went in to this masterpeice ! amazing ad !
Are they really expecting us to believe that these messages were sent over the Vodafone network?! The alerts need to be timed accurately to probably a few 10ths of a second to produce music like this - there's no way they could send the texts over the mobile network.
I'm not sure I believe the phones are even making the tune, but if they are, then it was certainly via direct instructions being sent to the phone - not by receiving an sms via the usual channels.

I'd say the REAL cost of an SMS is equal to zero, so it was pretty much time spent cost ad only.
