  • mentzer is right about the dip being the most productive upper body movement. It alone brought up my weak chest, when all else failed. 6 sets thou............

  • dude looked better before he started.

  • nie amigo can u tell me ur nutrition program what do u eat hos when how much etc etc thanks

  • pls song is???

  • It's so strange the way our bodies change in size.

  • 21 days and 8 trains, there is something wrong on it, if this were Hit, 3 or 4 trains would be enough. By the way, 5,5kg of gain? hum?

  • ok i just found about this HIT training stuff but so far i thought it was just about running....are there also HIT traning excercises for biceps or building muscle in general...not just for burning fat / cardio

  • @ME911119 i do hiit training every other day and cardio for an hour on days i dont and my trainer always incorporates either resistance band workout or dumbell workouts into it aswell. stuff like renegade rows, hammer curls, power pulls, kettle bell swings, push squats but thats just some of the stuff not including the burpees or the sprints or bag work that is the high intensity part

  • WTF! i've been watching some of this sissy arse "high intensity training" bullshit and i am suprised at people, this is not HIT! well, it's not high intensity at least, it's training but it is anything but high intensity, it's shit, your best just moving the weights as fast and as hard and as heavy as you can! fucking hell do you see branch warren or infact any pro out there doing that shit, because i dont, branch who isnt gentically gifted is the man with high intensity, look at him, fuck this.

  • @THEGODOVROIDZ No but I've seen Brock Lesnar use HIIT all the time. HIIT isn't supposed to increase muscle mass though it's purpose is to burn fat and improve your cardio (especially explosive cardio). It's great to use with kettlebells, sledge hammers, medicine balls, etc.

Oh and have you seen what Brock Lesnar looks like? That guy is a fucking tank.

  • He looks almost the same!

  • hey... i know this... are you the one who use an old school way? I mean like rocky style or Charles Atlas? Because in my place at asian region, youngsters tend to use this as a one of the martial arts training way or the fastest way to get good shape and strength.... keep up the good work!!!

  • notice the lighting differences in the before and after photos...good photography trick. higher intense lighting above to give off shadows for appearance of definition.

  • @hliles yep, all about those lighting angles haha

  • @WingdPuma hehe - don't get me wrong - the guy obviously worked out and could likely kick my ass.

  • Comment removed

  • im sorry, what?? did that say 8% body fat?

  • How to warm up using H.I.T ? You juste do a general warm up at the beginning?

Is H.I.T. still good compared to others?

  • @Seuneglacise warm up like you would in any other exercise

High intensity training means that you're training as hard as you body AND mind can(you should work at peak efficiency every time to see development). What he means is H.I.I.T. (high intensity interval training) which are usually full body exercises or divided into upper and lower body exercises and usually means 10 min of H.I.I.T. equals to 2+(depending on how much u workout) normal cardio ex. treadmill, cycling.

  • ha i like how to opposite opinions are supported "this twat doesn't look any different" and "21 days? i really do believe that! not!" which is it? one group of you guys are stupid

  • more like 21 weeks

  • 21 days of training?

  • chicken...

  • NOT in 21 days!

  • as you can see, over the course of 21 days, I slowly begin to flex harder and suck in my stomach as my mom takes pictures of my body! You can plainly see that thanks to steroid related water retention, my size increases slightly!

  • 21 days my arse, i dont even know a different way of training, u just go in, train qucikly, train to failure, thats it, common sence, anyway, thats all i've done for two years and it doesnt do this every 21 days, infact i dont change one bit, only my bodyfat does, building muscle is a really slow process, muscles will only noticably change over a period of every 4 or 5 months, at least with me, and you even look like you have used steroids for this! your skin is much grainier afterwards, so wtf.

  • 21 days... BULLSHIT... You fucking liar. I train HIT and its great, but this is not 21 days worth of training. 3 - 6 months maybe.

  • @bknives

With the right training and nutrition for me it was possible to gain 16 pounds of muscles in 2 month. I did only 25 min. traing per day! Without any supplements except protein shakes. I did always supersets (p.e. bizeps and trizeps), did extremly short pauses between the sets, did alway negative repetitions, and did always look for extreme exactly repeteations and not too fast, except the last set. To hold the carbohydrate level high at the training i took dextrose with a bit water.

  • @bknives Part2

immediately after the training i had to lay down for 5 minutes, because I was so extreme completely exhausted. If this is healthy, is another question, but it's possible to gain unbelievable muscles in short time...

  • Honestly I didnt see that much of a difference at all.

  • DUDE

    Awesome physical changes!!!!

I wish i did HIT when I first started... it took me 6 months to make progress like that.

Fuk it annoys me to tears that the bodybuilding world is full of so many lies and you just don't know whats true and what isnt.. well folks... HIT TRAINING IS THE TRUTH TO GAINING MUSCLES!!!!!!

  • When i first started to train i began With heavy Duty-Type drills, Which gave me Very Nice Red Marks over my upper chest and Deltoids and in the lats =) . Nice Progression here !!!

  • wtf was this cunt taking steriods? he puts on like 1-2 inches of muscle it looked like wtf ? what work out was he doing

  • @KiNGCH4S3 its call hiit, just because he looks better doesnt mean he took steroids, he might have put on a good diet too

  • @KiNGCH4S3

    roflmao

you don't know shit about bodybuilding, do you. lmao

  • nice progress, dont listen to this negative ppl here. i think for 3 weeks this is good

  • 3 weeks? are you supposed to even look for a change?

3 MONTHS, look for a change.

  • no way u r 8% bf and no way u were 11% at the begining, u maybe got down to 12% at the end

  • Changes are way to drastic in such a short period of time, even with creatine you can't get these kind of results this quick.

If you notice at 1:30 his after picture, you can see how blotted he looks and his upper back is bulging out, that is from the oil that anabolic steroids put in your muscles. 100% sure he is taking some type of steroid. (:

  • @mattownsu1 lol @ even with creatine...

  • pretty sure this guys from either Brazil or Portugal.. either way Anabolic Steroids are legal where he lives.. but i dont notice that much of a difference really. O_o

  • what about your legs ??

  • Cara...este treino é foda demaissss!

O músculo queima muitOOO Mas os resultados são ótimo!!!

O que vale não é a carga, mas sim, a intensidade de contração muscular!

    HIT na veia!

  • i dont see any difference, but maybe im missing something

  • very nice job

you have got a good body since the beginning but we can clearly see that you have fast in your chest

  • Hmmmm Im not sure about the drop in body fat percentage that quick but I know for a fact that you could loose AT LEAST 3 pounds a week without loosing muscle. No BS I lost 16 pounds in 2 weeks because I needed to join the Air Force and my diet was strictly NO CARBS unless it was breakfast, 3 liters of water a day and 20 jogs with a sana suit everyday. Granted my loss of weight was mainly muscle due to the intensity of cardio and lack of protein, im saying it MAY be possible for this guy.

  • 20 jogs a day?

    lol sure

  • @aidzz69 I meant 20 minutes a day, and besides where's your input on this issue, for all we know you just jack off all day and dont even know how to lift weights

  • yeh i must be,

u said 20 jogs a day so i thought yeh ok hero, how far do u go 100 meters.

So then i must be a fat loser

    ok

  • @aidzz69 Ha didnt mean any offense man, just thought you were calling me an idiot. But did you mean how fast can i run 100 meters?

  • no difference at all

  • not possible in 21 days. Im an expert at muscle & fitness and this is simply not possible, even with the best nutrition program for a person.

  • @lennardnijenhuis do u think sterioids had something to do with this?

  • @Sh0ebakA

nah if i used steroids he would be very dumb, coz you can get alot of more muscles naturally.

he probably have been working out for like a year.

  • Comment removed

  • @mrvolax - The fact that you took the time to type that nonsense clearly shows you're an idiot who has no REAL experience with this program or any other serious developmental regimen. These results are not unusual, in fact I've seen better. Do some research before posting juvenile blabber about a subject you know nothing about.

  • @mrvolax Exactly my point.

A normal human being can gain up to 5 Kg's max of pure muscle per year without taking roids. To accomplish that you need to train at least 4 times a week according a balanced out exerciseprogram with a personal diet.

And i almost forgot: Enough rest.

  • @Troyk20041983 You can gain more then that. If you have ever tried 5X5 stronglifts routine you will begin to gain 10 pounds at least with in a month. Don't say it's fake because it's not. It just involves a lot of hard squatting and lifting.

  • @wolfpackleader32

You might gain 10 pounds in a month but definiteley not only muscle.

It has small use trying to convince me about personal training since i do that myself.

  • @mrvolax

It's possible to add 16 pounds of muscles in 2 month (my own experience) with HIT

  • A gain of 16 pounds in 2 months may be possible for a beginner, who gains muscle much quicker for a short period, but not for some one who's already been training 6+ months. even in this case 16 pounds does seem to much. perhapse you're mistaking 16 pounds of weight (fat, muscle and water) for pure muscle. other reasons could be extremely good genetics or steroid use. apart from that there's no way. that would add up to 96 pounds of muscle each year, which clearly isn't possible.

  • @mrvolax yeah you can you can loose alot of weight in that time or put on alot of fat

  • @mrvolax completely untrue. It is easily possible to add over a pound of muscle every 3 days or so..provided you're training correctly.

  • so, are you suggesting some one could add 120 pounds of muscle per year? think about what you're saying. a pound of muscle per 3 days of training.. why, oh why am i even answering you? i must be mad. even a raw beginner on a well designed programme is going to struggle to add 10 pounds of muscle in their first month, never mind after that first month when muscle gains slow down.

p.s. please enlighten me on your definition of training correctly, i've got to see this one.

  • @mrvolax wel its possible to gain freaking much... there are some conditions.

Fastest gainers are people who have a lot of muscle memory, they were big or stong some time ago. The body has not forgotten this, and with high intensity training or some other, you can gain like 1 kilo each training for a short amount of time. Say like 15 kilo in a month. Research has proven this. Check out the colorado experiment. Or even tim ferris.

  • @mrvolax he didn't add any serious muscle... rofl he just got lower body fat. don't let the shades fool you

  • @mrvolax You must not know how powerful HIIT is.

  • @mrvolax If your working out and eating properly, you should be able to gain 1 pound of solid muscle in a week, not including the usual water weight that comes with it. It all depends on how serious you take our workout, meals and recovery time.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • reasearch has shown and mike mentzer has always said that it is more or less impossible to gain more than 5lbs of solid muscle per year

  • @hird1994 thats a lol fact

  • @mrvolax

He took illegal seabass supplements! The kind with scales.

  • if that was actually three weeks then that's extremely impressive!!!

  • Wait, one question, and someone PM for this, do you do interval training all out, or do you still include weights for mondays, wednesday and fridays.. cause those are my weight training days, and im doing marine HIIT, so can someone help me in on this?

  • Well, if you not are pumping while you are doing HIIT, your body will begin to burn you muscles, witch means you loose muscles :P

  • In the end, HIT means perfect form. some bb are so good at mind muscle control that even doing fast movements, they can still flex their muscle at the top of the movement and do perfect form. You must understand the stimulation process if u want to gain muscle. If not forget about it, the steroids will just make your balls shrink

  • This twat doesn't even look any different.

  • Comment removed

  • ? I never said he did use steroids....

  • ur saying the guy in the video used roids??? u clearly are stupid as hell than, he at really changed shit, he is still small as hell and his chest is horrible

  • Ironically not even Mike Mentzer followed his own preachings and he was afterall the most prominent advocate for HIT.

  • what do you mean? As far as I've been tol,d mike only trained in a HIT fashion.

  • In fact Mike Mentzer did train in a high intensity fashion. Mike's understanding and identification of proper high intensity training principles evolved over the years well past his competition days, and over the course of training thousands of people all the way up to his passing. This continuation of experimentation and learning over the last 20+ years of his life is the reason that what he recommended in later years was not exactly the same as what he did in his competition days.

  • The training that Mentzer advocated in his later years represented a progression of his own high intensity training methods of earlier years. He espoused these methods because through his experience, he knew them to be more efficient and superior to the methods he employed in his own training years before.

  • @TheOneOfLight145 Actually he did pretty good. How much different do you think he's going to look in 3 weeks?

  • @TheOneOfLight145 You have to understand that with HIT you only train each muscle only once every six days to ten days.

  • @TheOneOfLight145 i suggest a visit to your local opticians...

  • Comment removed

  • What exactly is HIT? Anyone have a link with a beginners guide? I have never done weights and ever since I left highschool I have lost alot of the muscle I gained doing waterpolo. So i need to do weights!

  • when you do a exercise all out for a short amount of time. then go at a good pace then go all out again another short time. do more research also. high intensity interval training

  • it can be running or cycling it's just a kind of cardio but as u said with a 100/100 all out effort for a while then rest but i've never heard that it can be done by weights

  • The type of training that mimod700 and THATNI99AJOHN are referring to is HIIT, or High Intensity Interval Training, and not what is referred to as HIT, or High Intensity Training as related to this video. Similar terms, completely different training methods used for different purposes. Considering the portrait of Arthur Jones at the beginning, and the routine, it would appear that Yavibot was following the kind of training protocol that Jones prescribed.

  • There is a lot of interesting information about Arthur Jones and the beginnings of HIT in the book "The New High Intensity Training" by Ellington Darden, Ph.D.

  • Hi, Is high intesity training the same as doing a circuit? Or is it something completly different. Please can you explain.

    Thanks

    regards.

  • HIT is lifting weight for around 1-3 sets 8-12 reps or maybe higher. The difference is that you lift the weight with complete control using no momentum. Lift on the positive rep for around 3-4 seconds and 5 seconds on the negative. Also have a 2 second hold on the top and the bottom of each rep.

On my first set I usually do as many reps as I can with good form, wait 30-45 seconds and then do the second set go to failure and ending with partial reps. There is lots of different methods.

  • if you use momentum to complete a dumbell curl for example at 15 kg/33 or so pounds does this mean with HIT training as you mentioned you would have to use less weight because the force on you bicep is continous and more stressful because of the proper form?

  • Correct and it's also important to also increase the intensity each workout to get results. For example add two repetitions to each set or make the weight heavier. I usually do 8 reps, then next workout do 10 reps, then next workout do 12 reps, and then the next workout I increase the weight by 5 pounds and go back to 8 reps and start over again.

I have been doing h.i.t for about a month and I have definitely noticed a change in my muscle size.

  • I love HIT but nobody in my gym trains with this awesome system. Its such a shame ! they watch me as I were a alien or something like that if I use that system at my gym

  • Yah I don't understand why more people train this way. It really depends on what works for you. It definitely is the fastest way to put on muscle though.

  • I believe in HIT (in fact i use it and i am in progress) but that results were made by Mr. Esteroid.

Just look at his grains on shoulders and back

  • what kind of progress do u see . is it pure fat ?! cuz i want try it it's just that i'm afraid of losing some muscel masse like cardio will do to me

  • all of you guys commenting dont seem to realize is it doesnt matter how short or tall he is, he made progress in a short period of time yet but remember this, hes a beginner and all beginners gain quickly because there bodies are not used to stimulus, now id like to see results on a seasoned bodybuilder, meaning atleast 10 years under his belt , would be interesting to see.

  • u want results? look at dorian yates in 92 and then look at him in 93 that was when he started his hit training. he went from nasty to freak nasty, anyway me personally i beleive in beginers do full body workouts for 4-6 weeks with basics 2 rimes a week for the first 3 weeks and then 3 times a week for the final 3 weeks. then do upper lower rotation workouts 4 4 weeks 3 times a week. then start some hit training for 3 months and the hypertrophy for 2 months..beginners grow from thisplusnutrition

  • very true but he made very good gain for 21 days

  • that is hard to belive progress.. how exactly did u train?

i am on a mike mentzer ideal workout

  • tiestofan,is it...close friend of mine is a 5'7 male,21 yr old, solid muscle, and considering the only fat he has is under his bellybutton,and..barely there,id say -5% bf, he's a downhill mountain biker and no his diet isnt perfect.he eats everything.sometimes, its just genetics.

  • Not always, he might be solid muscle but hes a short ass which makes it easier. He can have small 13 inch arms but it looks big on his small frame.

  • building muscle is easy, its becomes complicated in order for the masons to generate profit

  • This H.i.t. is really intresting.

Been reading about it for some time now.

I believe the body doesn't need to be training 4/5 times a week, I also believe 2/3 times a week for beginners is more then enough.

  • squat on mondays 1x15-20, deadlift 1x10-15, pulls to failure, dumbbell fly 1x15, dips failure and bench 1x15 on fridays, till near failure each exercise I dare you not to bulk up!

  • bulking has quite alot to do with diet, so a post like this would be very misleading to someone who doesnt know what they are doing.

  • take the steroid accusations as a compliment, faggots will blurt out anything just to save whatever ego they have left. btw great results

  • 21 days? I really do believe that! Not!

  • muscle burn fat dip shits my body fat dropped from 19% to 10% in two months and I gain 29 pounds of muscle no drugs no meat no supplements. Anythings is possible free your mind

  • Hahaha!! yeah right.Dude, I've lifting since I was 14 and seriously since I was 18.I'm 5'7 183 pounds 9% bodyfat.I was not able to drop fat and gain tons of muscle when I was younger, until I did a cycle of Testosterone enanthanate.Stop shitting people man.I believe the bodyfat drop, but a natural male can only hope to gain 12 pounds of solid muscle (no fat,not water retention) a year, assuming your diet is perfect and are consuming clean surplus calories.

  • your a fool you doubt the powers of the mind and i didn't say solid muscle. just because you had short comings and decide to be a coward and take steroids, does not give you the right to demoralize others, ps don't do drugs kids you'll just end up with a bitter attitude and bitch tits. just like needle dick fan7

  • I did not have shortcomings dumbshit, who said that?? I gained tons of strength naturally but had relatively high bodyfat, it is normal stupid shit.Until I took steroids I was able to maintain mass, strength, and low bodyfat.Taking steroids when you plateu is not cheating you idiot, the human body has a limit, you need steroids to surpass that limit.Theres no way around it.True, dont do steroids until you are naturally maxed out and know what you are doing.

  • I apologize steroids is a matter of choice and every individual has right to do as they please. The mind as well as steroids will help you surpass your limits.

  • agreed.

  • Actually, steroids are not available on the market. Yes these results can be achieved in 21 days. There have been studies done on HIT where one man gained just over 61 lbs of muscle while burning off over 30 lbs of fat in 28 days.

  • bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!! impossible to gain 61lbs of muscle in one month!

  • it is impossible to put on that amount of muscle in that short of a time frame. It is also impossible to gain muscle and burn fat at the same time, unless you are an absolute beginner or are on steroids. Building muscle requires calorie surplus, burning fat requires calorie deficit, those are 2 opposite things that simply cannot be done at the same time.

  • Your medicine is a bit off....

  • No, you sir, are just wrong.

  • lol maybe 6.1 lbs but not 61 lbs

  • OOWEE De Donde oooooooof?

  • to the guy that said u can get steriods at max mscle or gnc...sir NOW U SOUND LIKE A REAL DUMMY

  • sorry but that is not the result of HIIT training but it is steroids. Sometimes people don't know that they are taking steroids because they are available on the market, Tren Xtreme is a steroid and you can find it at max muscle. it looks like he gained about 8 lb. of muscle, and that is not possible in just 21 days

  • Idiot, have you ever tried HIIT? I've had similar results, without taking any supplements.....

  • For a newbie who hasn't trained properly who dials his diet in properly, yes it is. It most certainly is.

  • looks good, great job but what was this idiot eating in the process? thats more important than what we see

  • i didnt see any result........!

  • you're all full of shit and i'm still fat as hell.

  • oh, don't worry you'll stop being fat when yo stop sucking balls...

  • HAHAHAHAHA

  • hahah

  • The video is interesting but photos cant be compared in my opinion. You dont always stand in the same distance in front of camera and shades are not same, its not matter-of-fact.

  • Alot of clueless wankers posting here it seems. :-)

The changes he made were subtle its true - but for the time period in which he made them, they were great. If you could somehow make these 'subtle' changes every three weeks for six months you'd look awesome after that time, and MINDBLOWING after a whole year.

Remember, its easier to travel 1000 miles if you walk forward slowly and consistantly, rather than sprint, collapse, and quit.

  • Or you could sprint every 100 yards

  • For 1000 miles? :-)

You would die of exhaustion long before you even got through a 20th of the journey

  • I know I'm just kidding.

  • I suspected you might be - had to pull you up on it though just in case given this is youtube, the epicentre of people who know fuck all what theyre talking about :-)

  • Very true

  • What does the description say??.

How long did he work on this

  • he was doing it for 21 days and 8 of the days was high intensity training and he was using creatine for his supplement

  • yavibot, try this. Believe me its hard and intense. Start with your arms raised and back at the sides and flex your upper body for about 15 seconds at least. While still tensing slowly extend your arms out full in a 10 second motion count. Hold for at least 2 seconds.

While still tensing, move the arms back to the sides and in 10 second motion count. Hold for 2 seconds. repeat for one more motion.

Remember to breathe. Do the same with the arms too. Also do some wheel exercises.

  • well htats what HIT does, HIT ALL THE WAY and anaerobics and hiit

  • this guy definitely changed his body composition

  • HIT training is the future. In 3 weeks I gained 20 lbs of lean muscle. Unreal stuff, everyone should buy the book, even fitness professionals

  • 20 lbs i 3 weeks hahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahah fucking lier. buuuuullshitt

  • felicitasiones, lo voy ha ensallar

  • he still got pretty jacked...without roids.LMAO

  • are you kidding? it looks like he gained 10-15 lbs! just cuz he doesn't look like a mr o competitor don't mean crap.

Your not gonna get bigger with roids unless you have a calorie surplus anyways... Unless your body is using fat as calories to induce protein synthesis, which can happen in some people.

But yeah the dude looks great!

  • I see little difference.

  • Were you looking at the screen? This is outstanding for 3 weeks' work.

  • I can`t see any change at all...

  • y funciona en efecto!!
