Speaking on air is another favorite of mine, being a member of Ice Radio is a plus. In my life, and career.People come up to me and say, ''Lakia I love your voice, and the topics you speak about.'' While on the radio on campus.''Just like I'm busy on campus, off campus is the same. Being active is what I truly love! Sitting around does not work for me! Hopefully my life and my siblings lives may inspire someone to be productive!

African American teenagers that are still in high school and plan to attend college. I like going to the different schools speaking, and mentoring them. The women in this group with me are the best. The administrative club is great to be in because most of my career I have been in this field. At college being a member of this club is so rewarding, and I love working in a office environment. Writing is one of my passions that's why I am a member of Live Wire.

The clubs I am involved in at this college are.Newman Catholic, Black Student Union, Sister 2 Sister,Adaministrative, Live Wire, and Ice Radio. I love being active on campus, as well off.For Black Student Union I am one of the officers, and secretary.I'm happy that my college has a Newman Cathoilc club because this is my religion, and proud to be a Cathoilc. I enjoy Sister 2 Sister simply by being in a organization with African American that are intelligent, positive, and reach out to young.

Vincent has made it to age 25 on May 2, 2011. I was happy because doctors stated,''he would no make it to adulthood.'' He is still very sick though, and spends months at St. Francis Hospital. I visit everyday. Just like I did when Adanijirah was stuck at the nicu. Yes of course I have slept at the hospital for both siblings. I love them so much. Both inspire me to keep going. I was born with Asthma and Allergies.

My first degree was from this college in Journalism, and earned a certificate in Public Relations.Yes I was a transfer student to Spelman College! I attended Manchester Community College first because my mother needed my help with my disabled sister Adanijirah and brother Vincent. In 2002 Adanijirah has passed away. She was only two years old. I thank God that I changed my college plans to spend alot of time with her.
