I leave for my infantry One Station Unit Training February 17th in Georgia. I am ready to head to the fight. But I would like some pointers about how basic is if anyone would care to leave me a reply thanks.
Hey man, I went through OSUT at Ft. Knox about five years ago. Yeah, I'm Cavalry, but try not to hold it against me. It is the same training except we train on vehicles alot and you guys have some really specialized shit. If you are high-speed, they might make you an 11C (Mortorman). Good luck on the training, and I'm sure I'll see you downrange.
I know the feeling of a love being gone. My bf is over seas right now and many don't think Navy is all that,but they are. They are hurt just like an other Soldier and all I want is for my baby to come home before I leave for bootcamp.

My brother is fighting for us in the Army right now and has been for almost 5 years. 3 tours to Iraq and has been stationed in many other places. Its tough but I couldn't be more proud.
