He DID study in spain.......I WAS one of his co-workers in 1983-1988 when he could not play guitar........if you only saw his arm, then you would not say these things.......sad people who don't know the truth.
I heard that drunk driver was Andre Segovia and i also heard it was no accident. Segovia knew his star pupil had surpassed him in every way, and he couldnt take the shame. Especially after Esteban boned his wife, and sold her an inexpensive, elegant sounding guitar, with a rich sunburst finish on a solid mahogany frame.
Esteban is being honest! He donated lots of money to charity including 6 million to a charity in New Orleans to help re-build the city. He also gave a few hundred thousand to MADD, which is Mothers against drunk driving.....so dont tell me he is a bad person.

a friend of mine actually died by getting hit by a drunk driver and he is just trivializing all other accidents by acting like he's some huge hero and found a refuge in music when really, he's just a greedy bullshit hypochondriac.
