Gardasil protects women from cervical cancer. This cancer kills people. You can get HPV from your first sexual experience. Women get it from Men. We all know how men are, the girl could be a virgin, but if she marries a man who is not, and he has HPV, she is at risk for cancer. This vaccine does not promote promiscuous behavior. Also vaccines do not cause autism. The parents who are not vaccinating their children are risking killing their child if an epidemic of the disease occurs! Morons!

i think the STD statements are less important than what's really going: this vaccination doesn't work the way that merck says it does (only reducing the risk of one strain of cancer); additionally a lot of girls have had negative side effects. finally, OBGYNs are generally NOT recommending it because of the above two statements.
