My opinion is That fifa 09 is for more experienced football players, that likes that doing good beatiful chance to score is not eazy and simple, so newbies become angry very fast... I have fifa on my ps3 ... also test pes09... and I say fifa 09 gives better overall football experience... It grab you to the real world of football.. so FIFA 09 win ... :)

I always played PES on PS2 as it was light years ahead of FIFA. Recently got a PS3 and FIFA 09 after reading reviews. Now not sure I made the right choice. The lack of effective editing means that you are stuck with a lot of players that don't actually look like right. From looking at the previews I think I'll be going back to PES in October.

Im bored of fifa now - had it since it was released its always the same! commentry same cut scenes the movement is still a bit cagey.

had pro for a few days and the teams aint all the same you cant knock it for player and game A.I - the saves, the balls physics the player a.i is class. you get good deflections and its not as easy to score like fifa - anything can happen infront of goal rather than fifa when you'll always score from certain positions. give pro a chance

Pro is more action packed. Not a second to lose. But on the onter hand you have lousy change player system, lousy out system, opponents that seem to always score at 90+, and goalkeepers that seem to push the ball in the net. From a proper angle, the ball will go in even if the keeper gets it. I think that this year, it's FIFA for me.

i was a true PES fan not more than 3 years ago, but after PES 6, Konami didn't change the game that much, and FIFA is always trying to get its game better and better. If FIFA is better than PES it's all PES fault!!!! (but we must give EA the credit, too!!). They did't change the game engine, and they don't show any interest in doing that in the future. One way to make PES better in the future, is buying FIFA for now. That will make Konami change their ideas and remake the whole game.
