Some of the false implications of movement bog this video down, such as the screen constantly changing back and forth, attempting to give the animation some sense of movement, although it never captures what it wants to, only bogging down the animation as a whole. Nonetheless, this is amazing, and I give props to the animator for being able to do what he/she did.

This animation serves as a good example of why the Pokemon cartoon could be so much more badass.

As awesome as it is to see two high-level players duking it out in a battle of wits and the results of rigorous training in the games, the scale of the power gets sort of lost due to it's RPG mechanics, much as I love them.

The show could restore what's lost, and while it and the movies have their moments, there could be so many more...

I guess this is why dedicated fans are so necessary.
