  • Great job with the video. Things are going back to what they were with the rising gas prices again.

I work at one of the steel mills in carroll county, and have felt the effects of less hours and rising cost of living from fuel, utilities, to groceries.

  • You did a great job showing the effects of the recession in Carroll County

  • It a recession, what do you expect? Give it time, it'll get better. Don't make things seem worse thatn they really are. Dow Corning isn't sending jobs over seas, they are creating jobs over seas and experienced people here are going over there on a temporary basis. I work in Midland Mi at Dow Corning.

  • Then why don't they create jobs in the US?

  • They are. Things slowed down during the recession but they are starting to pick up again. We have had some expansions in Michigan and have created new jobs. At the same time, however, investments are being made in China and other Asian markets in order to serve customers in the Far East, so there have been people from the US going to China to fill these roles.

  • Interesting video.

Have you ever heard of PBS Frontline? It's a television show that covers the latest U.S.A. issues with vivid detail.

I suggest you watch "FRONTLINE: A Dangerous Business Revisited" to expand your knowledge on our economical standings.

  • You may find the video by typing this title up on Google. Good luck with your video career.

  • Excellent video!!
