For the people wondering:

1. He used chopped up buds, not just leaves or stem.

2. Yes you bake it with the "claw". Or you just press it some other way.

3. I know that here (Denmark) a fabric named Organza is VERY nice for filtering.

4. Remember to remove SEEDS, they give major headache.

5. The THC is ONLY on the bud, ON the bud, not inside the plant, so no need for using stems or lower leaves, just the ones at the top.

6. I prefer the Ice method :)

for everyone out there - the size nylon/silk screen is anywhere from 75-150 microns roughly, depends on pref.- I use 120 micron for my dry sift.

You remove the trichomes from the weed in order to get hash so pretty much, yeah.

The "Easy" way I've found is to go to Bio Diesel Websites and buy their 5gallon bucket micron rated filters. For $25.00 you can get 200micron, 100micron, and 75micron filters that fit right in to the buckets you get from home depot etc. Use the ice water method and you can just pour the liquid through the stackable filters and bing, bam, boom your done. Press to dry, freeze it, use a crafting heat gun to melt in to a block and your done. Duda diesel is my new best friend.

hey! I hate to say that you're wrong about this method being better than ice and water method. The Ice method is actually the method to make the most pure extraction.

The method you are using is one way to do it! But maybe next time you should use a better silk screen. As you can see the product you got is not pure at all. If it were pure it would have a golden brown color. yours is a bit green! this means that there are crushed leaves in it.

@976thanos Get a micron rated fabric. The smaller the micron rating, the more pure the resulting product. 25 micron is the smallest you need 2get super super pure. I went2 biodiesel websites &they sell micron rated filters. Google "Duda" for the place I buy mine from. Start with the larger filters &work down. From what I've read, even though 25 microns is "The Best", 75 microns results in damn good product as well. Coffee Filters rate 10 to 20 microns for blotting & finishing.

@ommar460 an old t shirt stretched out works.... if you want more of the "crystals" to fall thru, through the weed/leaf/bud/shake into the freezer and let it get cold then try the process again... the "crystals" i forget the right word, is a lot easier to extract thru the process

this is not better than bubble bags or anything like that,you can see how inpure that hash is so green too much impurities like leaves you need sift through a smaller fabric or silk screen to get much purer hash,bubble bags are way better takes out impurities because of a smaller screen so only the small crystal goes through not small parts of leafs etc
