@itskayleighbaby American Idol is a joke. No true artist or musician would want to be associated with that show. They'd laugh because the taste of those who watch that show is partially why this era of music is bereft of artists of the magnitude of Billie Holiday.
@MermaidsAreNice Dear one, I do because I knew most of these folks and worked with some of them. This is one of my favorite recordings! Sweets was hired by all the singers to play all that sweet trumpet behind them and Frank Sinatra did that as well. I miss those days. Legendary Sunday nights at the Baked Potato in the seventies with Sweets band and great players all. Sass, Billy Eckstein, everyone was there to hang and play and sing with Sweets.
@itskaylbby whatever dude or whoever you are, you don't know what you're saying just close your mouth... it stinks!

I've been listening to Billie for nearly 70 years but it's the first time I've heard this track. Superb, naturally.

Definitely besser than Ella Fitzdgerald's implementation. More real, more maiden and spontaneously. Shugar GranMa!

@droumeff Ella's version was soft and beautiful and felt more sweet and sincere
