@GamePlayShotz I got one when I was 5,5 years old just played around, then at fourteen I did like 10 track days on a motocross track and then it took untill I was 18 untill I rode on a track again. Today I´m 25 and this video was made when I was 21
@acbyrne21 Hi mate! I have been using the STM clutch but nowdays I dont use one :) I think the STM has the best feel and least amount of problems out of the ones I've tested, but its heavier than some others. Its what I recommend anyways! Thanks! :)
Hi Olof! I am the one from italy that asked some questions on the ktm 125 several months back, but i choosed an rm 125. I'm going to change the front brake, because now it's on the cross one with a 320mm disc, and on track isn't enough for me. I'm asking you how are you feeling with the sxv one, because i found a cheap used sxv breaking system, and i wanted to mount that on my rm 125.
@Ettorebzbz Hi mate! The front brake on the SXV is radial mounted which will be a problem with your bike, you will need to make a bit more advanced adapter. Otherwise its a good system for a 125. It has some leakage problem (where air leaks in, either by overheating or bad seals) but if you use good brake fluid and bleed them now and then I think they are good. I can do 1 finger stoppies in 140 km/h with mine so that should be good enough on a 20 kg lighter bike ;)
Ok, i'm not able to brake hard like you do, and i found on the internet that this leaking problem is guilt of the brake pads, an another model(that i don't remeber which is) doesn't heat up so much.
@SierraKilo9 I use a lot of rear brake compared to many other supermoto riders, I feel I get more feedback and can easily adjust the slide. Anyhow, I go down the straight full throttle, shut off and pull in the clutch + start braking, choose the gear I want to exit with and then just ease off the clutch while I'm on the rear brake. The engine brake is very good to use because the transition from sliding to not sliding gets smoother. Do everything smooth!
@SierraKilo9 np :) Yes I do, but you need to ease off the further you get into the corner. Sliding properly is very difficult and if you want to do it to become quicker I think you should wait untill you are a couple of seconds behind the pro's or else its just a waste of time
dude that wheelie literally made my jaw drop..if you taught a skills/race school, you could probably make some decent money..i know i'd be there if it was close to the north west.
the motocross track there is insane! I drove it last summer, very very good track, and I drove gocart at the gocart track too :) My father is a rallycross racer, and drove his car there last summer, he says the track is good
hey man dnt give up..u have the skills most racers want..keep racing..u got balls man..im 40 and over the hill but i just got a new cr 500 i wana race agin..dnt ever let urself down..i cnt believe ur only 22 ..u kick ass man..peace
Thank you mate :) I ride much faster now but I'm putting the racing aside or atleast scaling down for a while, me psyche isnt good enough for it yet. I wish some day to ride the world championship, atleast one race :)
In this video I turn at the same time as I lift the rear wheel so the bike is already on its way to the other side. But you can also steer a wheelie by steering in the other direction and leaning towards the side you want to steer. Its not at all difficult if you can hold a wheelie atleast 400 meters
Are you kidding me? I work at an Aprilia dealership in Canada and have ridden the 550 a lot. This is amazing. Olof, you are a very talented rider. Impressive, especially wheelying through the s-turn
when was your first time OLOF on a motorcyrcle?
