  • @thewamena no u need a spektrum dsm2/dsmx radio

  • After the batteries are charged, how long can they sit out for with out having to be recharged?

  • @hbomb347 couple months they would still be fine to use. I would probaly recharge them to top them off if I don't use them for like 3 months though.

  • can you explain to me the diffrence in diffrent channel planes????

  • @biggestfire the amount of 'channels' really is the amount of things you control. 2 Channel planes usually have only throttle and elevator. 3 Channel planes usually have throttle, elevator, and rudder(sometimes ailerons and no rudder). 4 Channel planes have Throttle, ailerons, elevator, and rudder. And so on. More channels are used for things like flaps, retract gear, bomb drop, lights, smoke, etc.

  • @earthling1984 i think u mean throtle and rudder???

  • @earthling1984 i was going to buy an rc plane (for the first time ) which one would you recommend ?

  • @RCFreak1231 hobbyzone supercub

  • @biggestfire different channel like the cub only has 3 channels the throttle, elevator, and rudder the p-51 has 4 channells for throttle, elevator. rudder, and allerons understand?

  • which is easier sukhoi or p-51 im a begginer

  • @ReptilesNe1 p-51 is easier to fly... but if you are a beginner you should start with a 3ch high wing trainer.

  • @earthling1984 I have been flying the champ around and am kinda bored with it. It kind of just floats and if there is ANY wind it turns into a kite. I can fly my mcpx heli half ass decent. Do you recommend this as my 1st 4ch plane? I'm poor so I can't get the cool T-28 parkzone I want, but maybe I can afford this? I do have a dx6i.

  • @earthling1984 like the Champ!

  • how much was that

  • @paintballfreakalex1 check them out on horizonhobby website.

  • do you still have the p-51 if you dont use it could i get it ??

  • @STEELDIRTLORD15 I still do have it. I plan to fly it more during winter at the indoor flying field.

  • you see, I'm a beginner, but I can only fly 4 ch planes! If I try to fly a plane like an easystar on my Phoenix sim, I crash! But on the sim I can prop hang an extra...

  • what is your name on phoenix sim my name is KrazyMofo maybe i will see you on there

  • i ending up getting one of these today rather then the sukhoi. My only plane so far is the HZ champ. I think this p51 will be a good stepping stone to the sukhoi. It was on special so i got it. I really like your flying. I took mine out today but i had the alerion controls reversed on mine. I was able to fly it like i would my champ. Didnt realise till i got home, lols.

  • the girl is very stupid with zoom in and can't follow.

The zoombutton is very worn after this recording.

  • Awesome! Im a get on of those

  • Awesome video! I want to get one of those, they look sweet and seem to have a lot of power. BTW I think what you call "backwards loops" are more commonly called "inside loops" (b/c pilot is inside the circle of the loop). Also, "forwards loops" would be "outside loops" (b/c pilot is outside of the circle of the loop). Outside loops are always harder for any plane.

  • Awesome flying! I'll never get the hang of ailerons.....

  • @Tommyr Thanks! And sure you will, it just takes practice! Try a simulator for a while, so you don't get your planes damaged when you crash.

  • Maiden flight this morning, stock 120mAh battery and then the E-flite 250mAh battery. The speed is quick, wind didn't seem to have as much effect as I thought it would. With stock battery I had to bring the plane up as it was losing altitude on hand launch, after it gained speed it needed no elevator. Click the right stick once to put the controls in low rate, because the ailerons are responsive like a 3D! Make sure to keep it within 150 ft or it becomes impossible to tell orientation.

  • @swspartan327 i recomend u get the wild hawk. 3ch. (throttle, rudder, and elevator) it is absolutely the best plane i have ever had! i crashed it at full throttle into grass and the battery was wet and all. the battery was fine and we just toothpicked and glued the nose back together. it is soo durable it can take a ton of crashes. also the wings come off so its easy to transport. get the wild hawk`best for a begginer

  • I think this will be a fun plane. I ordered one yesterday with an E-flite 250mAh battery and a '1-4 Micro Battery Charge Adapter' so I can charge the wider E-flite battery from my usual charger. It'll be a few weeks but I'll likely come back to let everyone know how the flight goes.

  • Superb Mastery Of Radio Control Flight!

  • @wulfwrangler hehe, thank you :)

  • Can it do front loops aswell as back loops?

  • I got 5 minutes with alot of throtle management. All of my batteries dont fly long in this plane but work well in the cub, vapor, and the mcx. The battery from the mcx tandem has the milli amps "my" plane needs to fly the way I like. My plane does not fly as strong as yours with stock battery.

  • I have one of the first ones and either the batteries suck because i get about 60 to 90 seconds. Then I got a mcx tandem and tryed the 250 mah pack that came with it and now getting 6 to 7 minuites at full throttle. Now its fun!!

  • @mreid08 weird, I get usually 7 minutes flying this plane with stock battery. Maybe you damamged the original lipo by over discharging it? Did it run fine for the first few flights? If not, maybe you did get a bad lipo.

  • My girlfriend just ordered me this plane for my birthday. Now, i've never flown an RC plane before, but have quite a bit of experience with flight simulators such as X-plane and others, including some made for training for RC use. Would you say this is an OK starting point for someone in my position? Not like i have much choice, : )

  • @swspartan327 hey, glad you are getting into the RC hobby! As long as you are comfortable flying 4ch planes on a simulator, then you should be ok!

  • @earthling1984 Alright, thats good to hear, thanks!

  • @earthling1984 Sweet, I'm pretty excited, I've always wanted to get into RC planes. I figured small and electric was a good place to start.

  • now if only you could rig it to shoot pellets, so u can get the annoying neibours

  • Hi..that was a good vid! i have just been outside flying mine! 9 minutes without any probs! cheers!

  • How long does the 120mah battery last? Going to buy this guy today I think. Maybe I should pick up a couple of lipos too.

  • @Ispintechno1 5 to 10mins tops, depending on how much throttle you use.

  • @earthling1984 I LOVE THIS PLANE! I bought it yesterday and an extra e-flite battery. Trying it today with increased elevator throw. Agile little guy. Something to literally fly everywhere.

  • i recommend starting on giant scale multiple turbines nasa built models, and scaling back to 3 channel trainers. watch my disfigured ape video thanks !

  • You're lucky I wish I had that kind of space to fly! You can just leave it on full throttle without worrying about running into a house or tree lol

  • @Wes91793 hehe, yeah, I just gota watch out to not land in the tennis courts(which I have done once and had to jump the fence because it was locked!). I sent you a message. Don't take it as being 'mean'. I didn't mean it to be mean in any way, but I think you can do better :)

  • @earthling1984 no problem but watch my videos of the USAF Thunderbirds, I think you will enjoy those

  • does it cost?

  • @panchitomaster $100 for the BNF. $130 for the RTF.

  • Are the Ultra-Micro P-51's good for beginners?

  • @KingdaKa0204 you should start with a 3CH plane if you are a beginner, but yes, the -51's are very smooth and easy to learn on, just make sure you fly indoors in a large gym or outside only on very calm days.

  • thanks man i was going to buy the f4u corsair in a few weeks and i dont want to kill it so i will practice on this p-51 and maybe that will help me

  • good idea! If you aren't very experienced on 4CH planes yet, I'd recommend a micro first, they are much more forgiving during crashes. The larger planes are a little more stable feeling however.

  • well, stable feeling outdoors, because they are heavier. If you could find a large gym to fly the micro it, it would be perfect. Ourdoors there is always just a hint of wind.

  • i have never flown a 4ch plane and i got

p-51 micro today and i learned quick that you dont really have to use rudder i have been using allerons the most and havent figured out how to use the ruder yet any tips ??? anyone

  • When most people start on aileron planes, they have the same experience as you, as the aileron control takes over where the rudder used to be. The rudder can still be used for tighter turns and other tricks! You will learn in time how and when you want to use it.

  • were did u get this plz reply

  • google - horizon hobby

  • would i be able to fly it because ive flown the hobbyzone mini super cub and a bi plane to

  • Should be fine as long as you are good with 3ch planes.

  • buy a corsair from parkzone

  • Sounds like you are getting a lot of rpm out of that motor. What battery are you using. Mine does not fly that fast.

  • all stock setup

  • hey im getting this plane soon.

but ive realy realy got "serious" woth rc flying.

ive mainly been into rc truck driving and racing.

ive been around trucks and cars for 5-6 years so....

i would imagine i could start with this.

can you tell me if this is durable and the flight times are good?

and if its worth it to get a good 2.4ghz spetrum or cvc transmitter?

    thanks.

    PS: good vids.=]

  • Cars and planes control much different. I really suggest a simulator or 3ch plane before you try a 4ch plane. As for duability. It is pretty durable as long as you don't crash hard into a hard surface. But like any plane, even a small crash can cause damage, it is just random. Flight times of about 5 to 8 minutes, depending on battery used. It is def worth getting a good Spektrum radio(DX6i) if you plan to comtinue flying/buying more planes! The RTF TX works fine though also.

  • @earthling1984 oh im actualy realy good on a sim lol.

i use the one t this hobby shop i volunteer at.

and so then the owner let mr try out his micro p-51.

i was only flying in an oval and doing passes though.

    and i didnt crash it.

and i only flew for 2 mins.

so i wasnt sure if i wanted 1 thinking how for rc trucks the repair costs could be pretty brutal.

is it the same way with rc flying?

    thanks for responding dude.=]

  • i want one but i have never flown an rc plane is this a decent plane for a noob?

  • if you have never flown before I would recommend starting with the Ember2 or Vapor.

  • i love the flying, i want to get one of these but all of the hobbie shops and online stores are out of the bind-and-fly version:( is the transmitter that comes with this plane any good?

  • Wow excellent plane.I wish i could have one.

  • Cool. my hobby shop is out of stock for now but I am getting one. great video very infromative. keep em coming!

  • nice video. good job on the camera work too. i really like this plane. did you feel like you really had it in control or was it just reacting to what the plane did? if that was 100% in control then that was some great flying!

  • In control whole time. I am good pilot as well. I can't do all the tricks, but I am very good at basic control and orientation. It is a very responsive plane and does exactly what you tell it! I love it!

  • how long dos the battery last ???

  • I usually fly 5mins then land.

  • thanks for your quick anwser...but for comparision...in a scale 0 to 10...a cesna 3 ch and a mustang 4 ch...where we can place them?

  • If you have never flown before, I'd recommend a 3CH plane. Either the one you mentioned, or the Park Zone Ember2, Park Zone Vapor, or really any other of the Park Zone 3CH planes(micro or full size). For a beginner, the micros are a great way to learn. I'd say get the Vapor.

  • Im a beginner looking for a easy to fly...this is a good option or should I stick with a micro cesna 3 ch? good video cheers

  • For a first plane a 3CH would be easier to learn on without crashing. If you wanted to start with a 4CH plane though, this would be a good one to start with. Whatever plane you start with, take it slow. Don't do to many tricks to fast, and remember, altitude is your friend!

  • nice job, yes lets see the p51 motor in the sukhoi video..

  • Thanks. I have to get a new RX for my sukhoi. Mine crapped out somehow. So I'll get a new rx and mustang motor and try that out soon. Right now I am working on my 4-site also so we'll see how fast I get both these little projects done!

  • is that the one you sugjested for me too get

  • yes

  • no problem dude. your videos are awesome. :)

  • Power is no issue with that thing!

    Nice!

  • yeah, def a little stronger than the sukhoi with stock setup. I will soon try this with a GWS 5030 and 5043 prop and see how those do, should be good if it improves performance anything like those props do on the sukhoi. I might also trying putting the P-51 motor into the sukhoi... see if that does anything.

  • Cool I like your videos cause they have two things that I like rc and reptiles your videos are awesome 5*****************

  • Thanks :) I'll keep the videos coming!

  • I love the backwards loops!! lol

  • thats freaking awesome!!!

  • Thanks. Hopefully my flight vids will get better and better. My camera girl keeps improving. The P-40 flight is one of her best (keeps on the plane pretty good). Thanks for your comment!
