Just move into an old house, a lot of the original wood floor is still in but has wide gaps in areas.

Whats the best way to fill the gaps and seal the edges?

whats that @ 16:54 liquid nails dont look green to me, wasn't he using a different kind of liquid nails no minimize the VOC, and at 17:01 the guy its not using side shields or proper safety glasses or hearing protection.

residential construction does not lend to osha standard of hearing and eye protection, in 90 degree plus temps i wouldnt want of those things.

You can start by designing to save yourself money i.e. utilities. Anything for the planet? Dont make me laugh. Ever hear the saying "Too little too late"? If you live in the city, even more so, much more. Otherwise "going green" is a nice arts n craft movement. When fed, state and muni give it a solid try, then maybe itll make sense...dont hold your breath.

Everybody is entiled to there own thougths. Negative people need to get a life. Thinking this way got "US" as a planet of people in this situation. I agree the power at be should work harder.

This is a very good show when you don't know where to start or how to start building green!!! Even if you are making changes it is still informative!!!!
