Sure, the method works. I mean, if the horses make it to GP, the method must work, right? All this controversy, all those veterinarians who ban this so called method are just stupid, right? Never mind if the horses "disappear" before they're even old enough to be called adult. It's all about winning, right? Who cares about horse welfare, anyway. They're here for us, to win prices with, not to live long, healthy and happy lives.
No Steffen has an owner who's husband invented Yahoo, that is why Steffen is riding the horse now, Edward Gal has produced so many horses now, i think you can see for yourself in the video who is the better producer of horses! x
well if you looked, you would see that gal is riding his horse really flashy and looks uncomfortable and up and in practicly a GP frame. And Steffans horse is going how a YOUNGER horse should! in a soft and relaxed frame. Steffans horse looks happier.
so you think this is the first young horse edward gal rides like this? heard of siter de jeu? morrlands totilas? united? all those orses does GP now and does it good. Do you think he road those inanother way? the metod works, it pretty obvious from the results.
Exactly well Totilas is out of this world, Peter is an exceptionally good rider but i think he is a bit fiddly with the reins. Like everyone has a weakness anyway i've seen peter ride his horses round and deep! so stop it you guys!
Gribaldi is 17 years old and reitired, Edward Gal had him when he was 11 years old and competed successfully thank you also he retired to do stud duties.
He was 15 when he was retired and loopy, thank you, the horse couldn't piaffe in the end to save himself without throwing a tantrum of some description...not to mention that he was in and out of competition for a couple of years before that due to lameness/loopyness
Thats wrong i've just looked up on the Edwards website and the last competition he competed at was 2006 not long ago really and he came 2nd in a Grand Prix Special Test with 70% you don't get 70% for being loopy in a test and before you say all the other tests B4 this last one was consistent 70% Winning or Second Place!! He Retired to Stud Duties get your facts right!
He acually retired from competition in 2007 after the horse refused to piaffe. I can send you some links to vids and articles confirming this if you like. Yea, sadly he did die, supposedly from an aortic tear...such a pity coz Gribaldi was beautiful.
@bizzybijtje I know his official retirement wasnt until a week before he died..Ive seen the photos etc etc etc, but the horse stopped competing in 2007. To quote Eurodressage, the stallion called it quits himself by refusing to piaffe. He was no longer competing, so for all intents and purposes, as a compeition horse, he was retired. Just because they didnt have a big hulla baloo about it with a ceremony proclaiming him this and that doesnt mean that he hadnt already been retired.
@bizzybijtje Anywho, pointless argument, the horse was done with competing, in my eyes if thats the case and without a veiw to returning him to the ring thats retired from competition. Thats just my opnion. In other words, he stopped competing. And clearly, with good reason and at a rather young age for a slow maturing horse.

2 complete polar opposites.
one horse going how a YOUNG horse should; in a soft frame - Steffans horse.
the other UP in almost a GP frame... guess which one will still be around in a few years. ;)
Thanks for the vids DF : = }

No he didn't...
Yes, he wasn't riding at competitions but he wasn't 'officially' retired.
That was last month. In Den Bosch, search on YT for 'Gribaldi Den Bosch' and you'll see :)
