Good point, but they didn't adapt! That's just one big mofo of a Borg wearing plenty of metal, which is why the Klingon decides to take him out with a heavier weapon, presumably new to this mutated strain of Borg. (Actually I did think this out.)
@kephren1 why is picard still a captain seventeen years after voyager?....only four pips on his collar. or is he a full admiral (because his uniform is different). i know its just a "movie" and i only ask because i see that tuvok has made captain.
It's seventeen years after Voyager's return. Picard isn't dead because it isn't all that much later. He did grow a beard though. As for Tuvok, Vulcans age slowly. Cartoon depictions of Vulcans age even more slowly.
Yeah, if the borg are about anything, it's the preservation of drone life. Even if it means losing access to cool new technology specifically built to fight against the borg.
i mean the borg are about efficiency so they wouldn't waste time assimilating the ship then destroying it they would simply assimilate it and its crew or destroy it
lol... yeah! when he was made captain the first thing he did was search starfleet for big breasted women to serve under him. i bet those two male officers are the first to die in an away mission.
The main complex with the Queen was destroyed but the Queen was an anomaly for the collective. The "individual" Borg would soon have reorganized into a collective structure. That's their nature. It's also their nature to seek some form of dominant node, like the Queen, which is why the Archeopendra was able to take control of the exploratory cube. Or it's an alternate time line. You choose.
1:11 there's ahole in that scene. They can't adapt to physical weaponry.

the borg don't destroy, they assimilate
marioman102594 2 years ago
These borg are unusual. They're no longer part of the hive because they're infected.
kephren1 2 years ago
@marioman102594 At times they will destroy.

ps2 game at 3:40?
Animeextreme25 2 years ago
Very likely. It was the main character in Elite Force 2. However, in this "time line" the character is named "O'Leary."
BNETSalesMachine 2 years ago
There are a few gaps in the story, otherwise this looks promising.
knoxvilleguy2 2 years ago
So..... the Borg developed an assimilation ray ?
They had a character on board the Defiant who wore a " catsuit " similar to Seven of Nine's in Voyager. Is she an ex - Borg, too?

Why the Hell was one of the drones gigantic?

He ate more Wonder Bread.

Interesting. Never saw Picard as the type to run a Starbase in his future.

Temporary assignment. Note that he still has command of the Enterprise-E.

what game was this made with?
Diodredai 3 years ago
Primarily Starfleet Command III and Elite Force 2.
kephren1 3 years ago
OH come on!
If these were typical borg they'd assimilate the ship and crew first and only destroy and kill as a last resort
kanenkitten 3 years ago
They aren't typical Borg. They've been infected.
kephren1 3 years ago
why bother assimilating the weapons systems then destroying the ship why not save time and drones and destroy the ship first

It's that weird Borg mutant that appears in the first scene. Sorry, I forgot that it hasn't been named yet.
kephren1 4 years ago
how come the Borg didn't try to assimilate the Klingon crew after assimilating their weapons system?
fightingfalcon777 4 years ago
Because the archeopendra is already satisfied with his biological makeup.

did you actually get Patrick Stewart and Tim Russ? cuz their voices sound like they're off of sound boards

the klingon at 3:15 either is or looks like worf!
batosaithemanslayer1 5 years ago
Yah, The model in the game was based on Worf, but was named something else. Worf is stockier and shorter. But the resemblance is definitely there.
